Biohaven Busy Work

exactly! I’m sure the 3.3 million people that have no job right now would love your paycheck right now.

Amen! I’m so sick of reading these posts. Yeah sure, a lot of this is busy work and our offices are dealing with a lot more important things right now. Be empathetic and don’t be pushy but do your damn job and try! There are millions of people out there who are out of work right now and they don’t have any idea for how long. We are getting paid-and paid well at that. It’s not ideal and no not every office wants to talk to us but I’ve also had some surprises in offices who are more than willing since they’re slow and I’m trying. You are working from home-safely-and we all know we aren’t working 8 hours a day because we don’t have 8 hours of work to do. But put in a few hours of honest work, earn your paycheck from your couch and shut up! This isn’t unique to Biohaven-most of my friends at other companies are all doing the same-except they have the same ol drugs they’ve always had. At least we have something new and can generate some interest. Also, did you ever think that we work for a start up and just maybe our jobs are less secure because of this so we should be doing what we can right now to generate some revenue??? Biohaven likely can’t afford to be paying reps to sit at home to do nothing like some other big Pharma companies can because the livelihood of the company largely depends on this launch! Some of you are way too self entitled.

EXACTLY!!!!

I’m very thankful to have a job. And I’ve been really impressed at how quickly our company has given us the ability to do this job from home and have given us multiple resources to be able to do it as well as can be expected. Obviously the uptake or Nurtec will be slower than expected , but at least we’re trying. And I’ve had plenty of offices willing to give me a listen. Frankly, I think those that aren’t fluid enough to work in this environment probably weren’t that great of salesmen anyway. If you’re hungry enough, you’ll do your best, and at least try.

Plus, it’s good to work hard since I can guarantee that our company doesn’t need 600 phone reps. We don’t need two reps per territory of this is a prolonged crisis. Separate yourselves now if you wanna be here long term and not get laid off.

god so sick of busy work, yada yada... no one cares in these offices about us... I refuse to call or email anymore offices. we are in a dire situation and I'm gonna sit home and eat pizza muffs and mello yello.so take that RBM

This may depend on where you live. If you live in a market dominated by big clinics good luck. If you live in smalltown usa you have a chance.

How do you detail a doctor on the phone? No snarky comments, please. Just curious. Generally very difficult to speak directly to the doctor on the phone, even if you are a patient, much less a rep. I’m guessing they are extremely busy right now.

it’s not easy, and usually no time to go through a long detail. I’ve found asking a good question at the beginning and revolve the call around that main point helps.

Everyone should have their salaries cut by half. Then lets see who stays. Have been here since Dec so what they pay me & others has been great- no complaints as nothing has changed

Isn’t this great. These managers are the best....creating busywork. Over sized sales force now obligated to fill out stupid spread sheets with the same information that they enter in Veeva. Three times weekly checkins, virtual role plays, let you manager join you on zoom for a whole day, and share your calendar with me so I can see what you are doing, between watching kids and other household shit. Just awesome! So glad I made the move!

Im not being lazy, just hate this shit. Oh and BJ can’t rap!

Well, I know a certain blonde manager in VA who loves spread sheets more than life itself, so she must be thrilled at this turn of events. I’m sure she loves all the other BS corporate requirements as well. I can just picture her spouting all the corporate-speak on teleconferences right now while all the reps are rolling their eyes.

I really like this company so much. So far they’ve treated us like gold IMO. I really hope they hang in there with all of us until we get out in the field when all of this is over. I was impressed with our numbers out of the gate, but the potential is there to do so much more once CV is put to rest. My offices own say their patient load is down more than half, offices have laid off much of their staff, docs are being called out of their office to work urgent care, and many hospitals won’t let delivery people in to deliver meals- so little chance of a virtual lunch. This drug is going to change the market. I hope the company can hang in there with all of us, until CV is over and all gets back to somewhat of a normal place. If they do, we are going to be hard to stop

Takeda Strong we will survive!!!!

I knew shortly after I was hired that they hired too many reps and managers for the long term and scaling back would come eventually when the time was right. I’m afraid that days going to come a lot sooner now. I know they’ve lost an immense amount of $$, and the longer we’re shut down, and shut out, the closer D-day gets for about 50 percent of us

Have you noticed they stoped running the DTC?
