He did give the company names, and UCB and Forrest was two of them, others never heard of. Forrest could not even touch my salary, so you know it is a scam.

He said they would:

Call from blocked numbers
Not allow return calls
Will give no product information
Must be available live

WHAT FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!

Any hiring manager WANTS you to know the product before the phone screen, they give their number and of course, you set up a time.

I am going to put Pharmablast and this guy on BLAST on the internet and report these fuckers. I blasted on a Friday and he called on a Saturday, so I agree, this is a promotion for Pharmablast so you can say "well one recruiter called me." Then you will refer your friends! DOUCHEBAGS!!!!! I am not the best person to fuck with, I am a verbal vigilante and can destroy with words, what fraudulant cocksuckers!

I did get ONE legit call for a legit job which IS not so ironically a big paycut!
 


He is having someone contact reps who claims to be a VP of sales and depending what company wants you... That's who they'll claim to be representing but it is the same woman calling who happens to be a Senior VP of sales for 8 different companies. If you contact him, he'll eagerly return your call within an hour. There will never be any new updates. He'll just tell you to be very patient and that you'll be very happy in June when you are placed. Then June turns into July, then July into August, and now we're in September. I did hear he placed a girl from my old pharma comapny with Estellis(spelling is incorrect I know). I have no idea whether that did actually happen. I know she did leave her former comapany but she may have lied about where she did eventually land a job. I do know that she got a phone interview and supposedly a face to face.

This is pathetic. These *$%@#! recruiteres are LAME, as lame can get. I can tell you that I've not had ONE, not a one, come through for me and the b.s, ohhhh shit, the b.s., you need waders people. I'm a glass half full kind of person, I can cut all the slack you need, but man, you burn my ass and I'm done.

I've been in all sorts of medical sales positions over many years. This year and the last half of 08, have been the worst. Its not YOU people, its this financial crisis we're in and the recruiters are licking their chops, foaming at the mouth. They are getting bombarded, losing it-trying to figure out which chump is going to help them make their house payment or pay off the old mercedes. Kids need their private schooling and so forth. I've dealt with exactly 2 recruiters in the last 12 months and they were God awful, obnoxious, rude, pissy and worse. I will do not need to subject myself to this any further. I've always gotten a job on my own and will again. This market is the worst, so don't feel you have failed. Lots of us out here doing what we can to survive and it is really bad. Hold on, our break is coming. Stay away from the recruiters.
 


Maybe I can be a self proclaimed VP of sales and start interviewing candidates about company xyz. I'll create my own pay plans, benefits, and choose from a wide array of cars to offer candidates. I'll discuss a newly created pipeline, company's goals, and be incredibly creative. Then...after about a year of this b.sh.t., I'll add VP of Sales for a major biotech to my resume. By then, everyone will be delusional, including myself. They won't lock me up because everyone else will be too busy going insane!!!
 


Same crap here have called old gravely voiced Bob many times with the same response "your on the top of Biogens list and Astellas". When I called him and told him that I had just talked to my former Astellas counterpart and there are no openings he backed off and said he would call me back. Just check the companies websites he is talking about and you will find that he is just blowing smoke or smoking something down there in his Texas office. Bob has no connections whatsoever with anyone. And who knows what RSI stands for? Running Scam Inc. I think.
 


I bet I know a dozen people this dude has called, and told "you are on the list" for interviews. Guess what? Nothing.

So, a group of us was drinking one evening and called him up, and we fucked with him for about 45 minutes about our "interviews" with Biogen and Astellas. Funny as shit.

Exact same experience!!! I think he is a total fraud. Told me that all these companies would be calling me. I was a President's Club winner and consistent top producer...not one call! Stay away from the CANTOR CANCER
 


Still happening. I got a call today with the same story. No time, name, product, etc. Have your cell phone on and take the call. He left a msg. for me and I called him back. I asked where he got my resume and he responded not from ESPN. You sent it to me.....Said we have all the national contracts and you'll get a call from Boehringer Ingelheim, Ortho Biotech and Sanofi. They have my name on their phone screen list.

He is still at it and using the same lines........."no need to take a pay cut"; "you are a professional"; "I will have several phone screens for you before the end of the month". Now he wants 3 references with titles and phone numbers to be e-mailed to him. He told me I would have several phone screens before the end of the month. I am glad I checked here before responding.

I directed them to this link and they told me they were kicking him off their distribution list based on this feedback. Yeah - the power of Cafe Pharma!! On another note, I asked PharmaResumeBlaster.com to reblast me for free and they did. I have gotten a bunch of calls so I did not feel comfortable asking for my money back - but I am sure they would have.
 




I've been called by Bob too...and linked with him on LinkedIn. He also called me within a few days after my paid resume' blast. He made sure that he told me that he had gotten my resume' through the blast, yet I was already connected with him on LinkedIn, so to me, that doesn't count as a contact from the blast. He gave me the same song and dance. 3-4 companies who are definitely going to have positions in my area coming available in the near future. Janssen, Bertek, etc etc....the same song and dance about be by your phone, answer, they won't call back. He asked for the 3 references with phone numbers, which I believe is his way of gathering more names to call for recruiting, since he is asking for management names or people you directly worked with at your past jobs in pharma. He sent me an email asking for something else, which I sent him and then called me back, "talked down" to me as if I was a dumb child, accusing me of not sending him what he had asked for. When I interrupted him to tell him that his wording in his email did in fact, ask for what I had sent, he then admitted that perhaps he worded it wrong and clarified once again what he was actually looking for. I even emailed him about a month later to let him know that I was still looking and just wanted to keep myself on his radar. He CALLED me and acted annoyed, letting me know I should be patient. I am unemployed! You are a recruiter! I am following up with you and about the FOUR companies you SAID WOULD BE CALLING ME FOR A PHONE SCREEN! Isn't it your job to give me an update without talking down to me on the phone!?! And an email response would've been sufficient, rather than a berating phone call.
 




This guy is a joke. I aked several common questions like: is it monthly or quarterly bonuses, is there a car allowance, uncapped bonuses, what salary range...etc. His reply was, well no one has asked me these questions before. Are you f'n kidding me?? What rep is not going to ask the basis questions and expect an answer based on the information the company has given him. This guy is an idiot!!!!! Don't give him any information and if he calls hang up, he's only going to waste your time!
