It will be rejected for alternative therapy and it’s window was only 24 months anyway and that was shortened with launch delays.

    ANGER

And there’s now “anger and mistrust of [Novartis], indicating an uphill battle" for the launch.

Before, doctors believed Novartis’ new option offered better efficacy and an improved dosing schedule versus Regeneron’s Eylea, Raymond wrote.

“Then lightning struck,” he added. “The world changed with the ASRS communication regarding cases of occlusive vasculitis in Beovu treated patients.”

Receptionist here who went on lunch break saw our handsome Beovu rep crying in the sample closet. We keep our sample fridge here and I have a 6 pack of Tab up there too. I had no idea what was going on here! His manager in our area is pushing him so hard and he came in and told us a beautiful story about safety and patents come first. I always make sure I cum first too. That is all

If anyone is crying and groveling for sympathy from your practices, you’re a damn fool. They may feel sorry for us based on the whirlwind of news but they will not give a crap if we sink or swim. This isn’t a game changer and they won’t risk patient safety to give any of us a sympathy purchase. Work on freshening up the old resume, it’s the best use of time

If you think leadership will let this go without a fight, you’re crazy. Be prepared for lots of pushback to the specialist level. More boot camp style training with plenty of role playing on how to sell to an HCP given new environmental parameters. Reasons for lack of sales will not be tolerated-too much money was invested.

Reps will be held highly accountable and training will hammer home new selling model. This is gonna be a long road. Be prepared to be the 3rd option, at best-assuming it doesn’t go sideways and there are more adverse cases out there (I hope not).

When you you start to notice members of leadership leave to go ‘elsewhere’, that’s your cue to jump ship. It’s way too early in the launch for them to explore other opportunities. If they leave, it’s probably because they know this thing is a big fat shit sandwhich, not fit for consumption.

Beovu is DEAD. This drug doesn’t have a shit in hell to go anywhere.

look what’s going on right now and you think physicians are going to take the risk of using this drug??

F NO! The risk has no benefit. Walk away from this dead drug. Absolutely that is what is happening

Aside from the cowboys in retina, what respectable doctor will use it again?
