The issue now is the ftc which would have bend a done deal already if Elizabeth Warren hadn’t pushed for the deal to be scrutinized which resulted in a “second request” at the end of Jan. Second request means that both companies will likely have to submit a ton of additional useless information. Here’s an example:

So it will just depend on how long it takes them to gather the info. Once submitted, it’s another 30 days. Maybe they already submitted it all. Don’t know. What I can tell you is that any “senior leadership” that knows isn’t going to tell anyone else. All they can legally is that they are still expecting it to occur in the first half of the year.
 






I heard a bunch of OBU reps are going to be exiting end of the month to start at a small biotech in ophthalmology that is launching. Start date 4/10.

That’s not surprising. A good chunk of the neph reps are applying for the Novartis rare renal team. I heard they have been getting micromanaged like crazy since the Amgen announcement, at least in the west…even top performers.

Abbvie Manager Observation: It's kind of funny seeing the number of ex-Abbvie/current Horizon employees interviewing to come back to Abbvie! A number of these folks bragged about career and salary advancements as reasons they went to Horizon. Well, we don't want you back!
