Amedica is a materials company not spine company and its value is in its material Si3N4.

The scientific studies clearly show that MC2 is beneficial for articulating against poly liners making Si3N4 better suited for joint applications than metal.

We also know that titanium (tantalum is worse) dental implants corrode and are prone to infection causing osteolysis amoung other things. Si3N4 does not have these issues again making it superior to its metal counterparts.

Dental and Spine are two key areas that Zimmer needs the most help in and Mobi is potentially dangerous with its cobalt chromium core. Not to mention that Mobi has poly layer sandwiched between two pieces of CoCr. This causes both metallic and plastic particles to be released around the implant. Clearly Zimmer would benefit from some sort of Si3N4 coating to both increase lifespan of the poly center but also reduce the likelihood of CoCr particles corroding or wearing off the implant.

Zimmer doesnt need Valeo, never has, never well. However Zimmer does need Si3N4 for its spinal implants including its pedicle screws which also corrode and cause osteolysis. Zimmer would also benefit from CsC technology if it wanted to provide an alternative to synthetic bonegrafts which are expensive and do not fuse as quickly.

Again no matter how you look at Zimmer's portfolio, it's products need to be updated and would significantly benefit from incorporating Si3N4.

    As ive always said:

Zimmer has the need, Amedica has the tech, & both companies are connected. Spine, dental, joints all could utilize Si3N4 whether solid, porous, or coating.

Zimmer is looking at purchasing Amedica flat out for their techology to bolster sales in spine through licensing and to purchase the next generation of hip and knee implants. You heard it here on TSB.

Posted so long ago. If the CTL deal does go through it aligns with this quote from 7 years ago.

If you are going to copy my post and put it here its helpful to add this information.
CTL must pay Amedica 25% over cost for each unit manufactured by Amedica and Amedica, or it's successor, is the exclusive manufacturer for 10 years.

CTL deal has a royalty aspect to it. So Amedicas sale of its spine business unit is still very much linked to future revenues for Amedica but without having to invest heavily in sales team.

Amedica is essentially becoming the Invibio of Si3N4, something overdue imo. It can bring in alot more revenue via licensing than it can selling Valeo.

The main issue with the deal is the extent of IP involved which is unclear.

Scott Mosier the Fraud still pumping Zimmer buyout huh.... When you have been wrong on everything you do, have been sued for fraud for previous performances, why still lie 24/7? He is paid to pump Amedicas stock or he is a complete psychopath that needs help before he harms himself or his family. When Zimmer makes their next purchase and its not amedica what are you gonna do? Still say Zimmer? You are literally everyones joke and deep down inside it kills you. Keep playing tough guy who can't say you are wrong, see how that makes you feel when your family leaves you for making them miserable. They can only be as fake as you for so long.

Lol. 58 companies producing silicon nitride and Amedica sold the only produced product in the industry they had to themselves. Shoot yourself in the foot and then try and and play the patent game with everyone else in the SN industry. This product isn’t new, every industry uses it allready.

Look at the customer CTL brings to the table to sell Si3N4 implants to. That 25% over cost is looking very good right about now for Amedica.

Scott Allen Mosier is a fraud. Luring people based off of lies for years. He will never admit he is wrong after being proven wrong. All he can do is delete messages, but now even those long and loyal on Ihub see him as a fraud.

the distortion here is hilarious. I hope this guy can find some humor in the fact some guy is paying a group of Indians to follow him around the internet and tell him his family is leaving him. I don't know why we dont firewall the entire country off the internet and telephones at this point. I can almost guarantee no one is calling out of there with the cure for cancer any time soon.

Drunk Amedica investors ramblin again. Some people can’t part ways with their money after making poor choices. Go the fuck away, you guys are complete fucking morons who have no idea about an industry you seem to be really jealous of.

Does this guy know that everyone can sell into the gov't? It is more about the distributor having a veteran status then the manufacturer. Time for an Amedica board so I can stop reading about this POS company.
