If you truly want to know the “end game” of this, simply go to Workday, and check out all the open sales opportunities. You will notice about 98% of the open roles are for “Associate Territory Manager”. Lilly want to replace all the “overpaid” Senior & Executive reps with ATMs, and pay them $50k-$60k less a year to perform the same job, and the best way to do that is to make your life as absolutely miserable & unbearable as possible by giving us impossible to reach sales goals, and by metrically micromanaging every aspect of our lives that we all reach our breaking point & quit; that way they don’t have to lay us off, and pay out a severance package.
