So, what do RM KAMs do anyway ?

So while you guys are pushing pills, we are basically relationship gurus, constantly talking up the top docs and hospital honchos, making sure they know our awesome treatments inside and out. Think fancy lunches and deep dives into the science – we're building real connections. It's all about getting our meds and therapies onto those crucial lists so folks can actually get them. You need to be strategic and have a vision + being good looking and having charms will work wonders.

Man, I sure hope that whoever posted that is being facetious. If not, whoa, WTF ?

Regardless, there so much animosity towards those KAMs that it’s palpable.

I hope so. I know 1 KAM who actually views herself this way. I do think this entire RM team needs to work on soft skills too. They are in fact lacking. People are leaving because of it (best MSL now gone) and I know several others who are looking.

I would be a bit surprised if anyone at Ferring is not looking or one job offer away from resigning, for all franchises. They have had this issue for a few years now.

I don’t know how old this thread is but it’s really funny that not even a KAM can tell you what they do.
They can’t even defend themselves.

Be assured, these roles are going away and the KAMs next-best option is to revert to being a lowly rep. Can you imagine ?
