Future of ACELL

Stock OPTIONS???? What start up has never offered all new hires AT LEAST 1500 options. These incompetent greedy jerks are disgusting. If you aren't looking to quit you need too. WIth no reimbursement nothing is happening here anytime soon. YOu are going to be stuck CHASING wounds everyday. You know who is garbage. The sound of his voice makes me sick on these calls.

45 known resumes out and counting! The thing ACell has going for them IF they can convince someone to come work for them, the training is a WHOLE day taught by the VP who has never done a case in his life! They'll be in the field FAST! LOL!!!!!!

I spoke to a counterpart for ACell. He said that the docs that the VP and 10 year old project manager were never allowed back in his hospital after the "WE FIX EVERYTHING" presentation.

Yep, sounds like a common occurrence. Keep upper management and even some of the AM's out of your key accounts. Unless you have the confidence in them knowing how to present communicate the real world scenario.

Let's cut to the chase. Good product, terrible managment. They way they are running this company is a shame. They have ongoing issues with production, inaccurate commision calculations, and they don't pay their reps. It's like nothing I've ever seen before. Only 8 Reps out of 90 scheduled to make over $115K for 2012. Those are #'s directly from the corporate office, not mine. AND no car allowance, no cell phone reimbursment. Maybe that's why the turnover is so high? Some of the most seasoned/knowledgable Reps in the biologic market have come on board b/c of big company promises and then run for the hills 6-9 months after being hired. These are the facts. What a shame.

It's not very good around here, folks. Reps are leaving left and right bc the pay is embarrassingly low. I left a job making $200K, now I'll make $75K if I stay a full year. It's time to go. This is place lies when they hire you and then shrugs their shoulders at the real issues. They'll say "it's the reps fault for not selling", which is just another excuse in a long line of B.S. ACell, you're the worst thing that ever happened to me. I wish I never met you.

I didn't make what you did but worked with a "real" med company and was doing good. I don't know how I fell for this place. I thought it would be fun to work for a start up and sales were "climbin fast man". Regional guy out here is actually cool but simply bored when hospitals don't want to let the product in with all the rat data! What can management do other than get more products that are reimbursable? I think I'm going to reach out to the local reps who sell all kinds of other products where as they say features and benefits work. Just sucks to look again in this market and other reps point and laugh and me as if I'm a clown.they laugh and laugh...

I notice at least eight people viewing ACell threads. MAN, you people need to get a life but I have to say it is entertainment from a bunch of WHINEY BITCHES!!!!!

I'm glad you find the truth about Acell funny........ Because working here is the biggest joke.

Lets stop making this personal and just speak the truth. You can't run a medical device company like its a distributorship. Business 101 folks! These are two very different sales models. If the people at the top don't start making some changes immediately, this place is going to fail, and fail quickly. Start by getting reimbursement and taking care of the sales team. Turnover is not only expensive, it's ruining moral and crippling any hope for progress.

Well said! We're in trouble, but there is still hope to turn this around. we have a good product, but change needs to start immediately. Reps are the backbone of any medical device company and our best reps are leaving left and right b/c we can't afford our mortgage payments.
