you are so wrong ...things may change a bit. Strata will be a strictly derm lab Lisa Cohen and Geoff won't allow that area to fail. They are very strong as for the rest who knows?

Let me guess this is either sales or management talking...

Here's an idea- this is medicine and the only revenue generated is when a DOCTOR signs a case out-

The physicians should be the highest paid -

How bout cutting sales salaries and PN salary??

How about be at the top of your college class - go to medical school and then 6 years of residency and fellowships and then worry about how much MDs make-

Unfortunately doctors have let everyone else control how much they get paid-

Does anyone tell a lawyer how much they can charge per hour???

Go give some more kickbacks to sleezy clinicians to keep their business-

Whichever DOCTOR wrote this should be beyond embarrassed.

"this is medicine and the only revenue generated is when a DOCTOR signs a case out"

When you chose to go work for a private lab, you understood that there would be a different business side to this type of company. Unless you are one of the few pathologists at Strata that truly drives their own volume, TH or LC (unlikely) you have a business group out generating your cases from all over the country so that you can sign out those cases. It is beyond embarrassing to hear you ungratefully minimize that part of the business. If you had any courage to sign your name to that post, I'd be interested to see how motivated your sales force was to bring in business for you.

"How about be at the top of your class and go to medical school"

Think about that. How many of the wealthiest people in the world are MDs. You are pretending to be so full of yourself, which likely means that you have no self-confidence to begin with. You are on an anonymous chat board responding to garbage and bragging about your education. Where did all that get you? On the message boards on cafepharma. Think about that. I'm sure soon enough when Strata is gone, you will be back on the open market begging another business person to hire you to "generate them revenue by signing out cases". You are a joke.

Whichever sales person - or PN himself wrote this response should go back to the gutter where they belong

All of your precious business that somehow you think you generate is actually GENERATED by another physician!! it is the dermatologist or urologist or surgeon who generates the specimen from a patient to send to another PHYSICIAN so they can generate revenue for the company-

I'm glad you think somehow you are responsible for the success of strata-

TJH - a physician started the company and other physicians help bring it up once they merged PSI ...

Maybe PN should go back to sleeping with KS or some of you sales people pass around some STDs amongst other strata employees-

Maybe if you had the guts to post your name then I'd take you seriously

Don't worry I'll still have a job once strata disintegrates - ;)

Ditto that last statement by the pathologist. Sales and PN better enjoy it while it lasts. When Obamacare starts taking effect the role of sales will be minimal at best. Hope you have another career option in mind because unlike you, a physician is actually useful with skills and degrees that will always keep them employed (even a bad one like LaConte). Maybe you will be unemployed sooner rather than later once you loose your urology groups, your GI group, and likely the winchester contract... All of which cushion sales salaries, conferences at casinos with spending money, golf, travel expenses, and select exorbant salaries. So I suggest you touch base with Herb Chambers or better yet go downstairs and ask a tech to show you how to gross a biopsy or cut a block so you actually will have a marketable skill set. Good luck!

To the person who posted "physicians are idiots…"

I hope when you are hospitalized …or you have a biopsy or even surgery for a tumor, that the physician who is responsible for your diagnosis is an "idiot" …especially the type of idiot that has been hired by PN over the past 2 years….

Good luck…;)
