GE STINKS!

Why?

I'm happy here and I've worked for good companies and some real shit holes. They don't let sloths sleep through to retirement but overall I have been happy.

Soon the game will change and you'll be this year's sloth. Long term performance (or being one of the employees who came over from a company acquired by GE) doesn't mean diddly.

Enjoy it while you are doing well.

Man is that the truth.
Arrogant w/o a reason to be.
Think they are great and they really suck.
Treat the people that work here terribly.
HR is an oxymoron. They aren't human and aren't resourceful.
This perception from "a future leader of the organization" according to my last 6 reviews.
I guess I could have gotten really stupid this year.
Didn't even mention Immelt, the head socialist in charge or NBC or MSNBC

Again, a reminder to those who think they should work for this criminal enterprise ... STAY AWAY!

Oh, and enjoy that electric death trap car that Immelt is buying for you from Obama Motors! They will have a special option -- a satellite radio that only carries MSNBC.

I've worked for Siemens as an imaging rep and now GE as a product specialist under their new "re-org" (which they say isn't a re-org, but it is) and I've got to say...as an employer, I'd take GE any day of the week.

Today's news tells us that the CEO of GE (which paid NO TAXES on a multi-billion dollar profit in 2010), Jeff Immelt, the chairman of Dear Leader Obama's job council, is chastising employers for complaining about the government AND not expanding jobs.

This is the same Immelt whose company has shed 20% of its workforce since 2002, continues to fire, layoff, and terminate employees for sport ...

With this strong leadership, I estimated Mr. Immelt and Dear Leader Obama should be able to take the 9.2% unemployment rate and take it to 12-13% without much more effort.

I see GE is opening some solar plant in Colorado, after they got all sorts of bucks from the Dear Leader Obama governor there ... and I'm sure there's still some of that Solyndra slush money around DC that Immelt just needs to pick up the check next time he's over visiting Dear Leader and talking about all the new jobs GE is creating ... in China.

Did you see the 60 minutes interview?

I remember going to a company meeting soon after GE purchased Amersham and we were to be moved to GE benefits (which were NOT as good as Amersham benefits, especially in the area of pensions and retirement age).

The gentleman who came from the GE pension operations told us that his operations existed solely to manage the retirement assets (401k, pension plans) of companies that GE had purchased. GE was making fees, profits and commissions from managing those assets for their employees. It certainly would not suprise me that the decisions made by GE management was made not in the interests of its employee and retiree participants in the plans, but instead to meet GE income and profit goals.

I moved my 401k funds out of GE hands as soon as I could following my separation from that criminal enterprise operated by Boss Immelt. Unfortunately, I can't access my pension for several more years. Hopefully, the crooks from GE won't be able to milk it dry for their tributes to Boss Immelt and Dear Leader (Obama) before I can get it.
