They’re all over the place and they’re cutting data that at best is unethical and at worse it’s illegal. Our new medical affairs VP is a dunce and is clueless about oncology. Run before the FDA catches wind
Deliver it straight to them through a whistleblower claim. This place needs to be cleaned out!

Why all the job posts? Are they expanding or cleaning house?
Deliver it straight to them through a whistleblower claim. This place needs to be cleaned out!
Why Geron will need to be sold ASAP and will never be profitable. Incompetent Sr. Leadership in the Board, Executive Management team JZ, JH and DB is an unwitting accomplice to JZ. Have some guts and fire that trash leadership team that has never run an Oncology org, EVER!

DB would make a better CCO than JZ!

Geron $375 million in synthetic royalty and debt financings with Royalty Pharma and investment funds managed by Pharmakon Advisors, LP, of which $250 million in cash was provided at closing and another $125 million in debt is available. The transactions are comprised of a $125 million synthetic royalty with Royalty Pharma and $250 million of committed senior secured debt with investment funds managed by Pharmakon Advisors, LP.

Royalty Pharma has provided $125 million at closing and will receive tiered royalty payments on U.S. net sales of RYTELO, ranging from 7.75% of annual net sales up to $500 million, 3.0% of annual net sales between $500 million and $1.0 billion, and 1.0% of annual net sales over $1 billion. Payments to Royalty Pharma will cease if the aggregate royalties payable through June 30, 2031, reach a multiple of 1.65 its investment, otherwise the royalty payments will continue until Royalty Pharma receives a multiple of 2.0 its investment.

Worst deal, lost 2B in cap and killed Geron Stock for every single Geron employee. Great work Management team!!

Great question. All we see is an oversized outdated big pharma model that is too top heavy and full of layers. Board has allowed entirely too much wasteful spend on unnecessary roles with inflated titles and salary. JZ doesn’t know how to manage an org unless he can use consultants and insulate himself with people to protect his ignorance and carry out his dirty work. Too many mouths to feed and not enough food to go around. Geron is basically on food stamps.
 


I've only been here briefly, but I made a huge mistake. When people bad mouth employees who have been gone for a long time even though that manager took realy good care of them then that person s one very low character and morals. It's happened numerous times with long-timers I've talked with. I'm so outa here

So disappointed I've wasted a year of my life here. Past the RBDs the mgmt team are deceitful clowns. Majority of KAMs I know hate it here. Scott wasn't perfect but he is/was a sales leader something that can't be said of the Jims. Only thing I'm motivated to do here now is look for a new job. At the POA I will be wishing that DB and the Jims heads explode during the opening session.

Scott fought for the field and fought for everything he could to get Geron off their ass to get a proper commercial org in place. The Jim’s have completely fucked up everything. They should be begging him to get back and give him the respect he deserves.
 


They can’t even explain how they are setting targets. They are following basic pharma practice and trying to apply basic DDD data and luspa sales. they have no clue how rare disease works. They won’t give you a straight answer or be transparent. They have no clue what they are doing and Ziegler has consultants infiltrating every aspect of the commercial business. He can’t do the job. He’s completely overhired and they are all
People he knows. He trying to insulate himself with people who will
Protect him. It’s burning down. Geron will burn through all the cash they have. If Dawn Bir can’t see that, she’s not fit to be on the board or an interim or perm ceo.

Doubt it, but I don’t think most of us care anymore what anyone thinks. We are leaving. Dawn B also has sat on the board for years and allowed a launch without a proper commercial roadmap so I don’t think anyone really values what she thinks as it’s irrelevant given she and the entire board sat by and let this place be destroyed.

So JZ got pushed out for incompetence or he saw the writing on the wall that he would be gone near term with an acquisition?

everyone leaves after the acquisition, not before. JZ is a turd finger with no self awareness.

JZ was and is a BIG problem. He is a horrible leader and has no business leading a primary care district. He was so far over his ski’s here. He needed to go YEARS ago!!! He ran off all the talent.

Jim Z was fired from gilead and he will be fired from here to. little mans disease with a mix of westpoint failure will catch up with him. it always does. why anyone would work for him is beyond me. dude is a fraud and acts like a know it all but in reality he takes the work of consultants and peddles it as his own. one of the few real deal POS I have ever met.

He is getting angrier by the day because no one is intimidated by him. He is not a leader. He is a fraud and everyone knows it. Look at the useless fools he’s brought in. No talented person with intellect would follow that clown shoe anywhere. When you are a fraud, you hire people like Hassard and Winn because they are so dumb and desperate they’ll do anything JZ tells them to.
