Got a call to go to the G.S. dungeon a few months ago. I could not think of anything they could have on me. I was so fed up with all the micromanaging. I just flat out resigned. Why waste my time and give them the pleasure of torturing me.

I used to love this company but with all the OEC rules and regulations over the past couple of years, it take the fun out of the job wondering who's following you around. My new pharma job is so much better. Reps are Not driven by fear. Good luck to anyone who has to go to Global Big Brother.

Oh and don't forget about transparency.

Her crimes?
1. She had included attendees on her lunch list that were on a prepopulated list of lunch attendees. GS called the office and one particular staffer was sick on that day. So that was considered falsification.

2. She rounded her personal miles to the nearest 25, 50 or 100 miles. They told her this was falsification because mileage needs to be tracked daily and rarely ends on 25, 50 or 100.

GONE!!

I do not believe this. For GS to start investigating you for anything, the DM has to initiate it, and it's usually a case of trying to get rid of a rep with poor numbers. What DM, who has an All Star making money for him/her, is going to initiate an investigation on that rep. If this really happened, name the rep. It doesn't matter now if she's gone anyway.

Well, i wouldn't name the rep without her premission, but she was from the midwest PC. So you say all GS investigations start at the manager level. That's a set up for lawsuits if that's the case. No one would trust their manager. Also whouldn't the manager be implicated in poor managerial skills in approving expense reports?

I don't think my manager would do that.

Wrong. Totally incorrect. The DM doesn't have to start the process. An RM can start it. A SD can start it. GS can start it too, all by themselves.

NO ONE is SAFE...you could be next.

Keep in mind that all involved are trying to prove that they have significance and are Abbott insiders...it's ok..everything happens for a reason.

You can only be special while the mrkt shares last. Easy to go from number 1 to number average with incentivepayout changes springed on us

the insecutrity factor is the trump card

Then you are next on the chopping block

GS keeps the numbers from appearing as layoffs..or downsizing

I am freaking out!!!! just got called to Global.I can't thinkof anything major they could be after me for.any survivors out there?? What to expect? my stomach is in a knot and my head is in turmoil. please help if you have any experience with Global first hand.

When are you going? Have you talked to your DM? Your DM knows something. Usually it's falsified calls, expense reports, or personal gas mileage. I haven't heard too much lately about inventory problems. That too has been a problem in the past.
 


if you get a call - you are fucking toast...like a previous poster said, you have managed to show your ignorance beyond you DM sniffing...your RM and AD if not the SD has a little visibility on this...

and to spend the money to fly you to AP, maybe a hotel....I would eat and drink well....

They won't let you ...

Just answer honestly. Think before you answer, and don't let them lull you or ruffle you. They are not your friends, not matter how nice they might try to be. If they're rough, it's not personal. If you don't know the answer, then just say "I don't recall". Avoid "yes" and "no" unless you're absolutely sure.

We're all human, and we all make honest mistakes sometimes. So unless you deliberately did something dishonest, try and be cool.

Most important, don't sign anything, allow them to push you into any decisions, accepting anything. "I'll have to think about that." Don't threaten, mention lawyers, etc, no matter what, even if it gets ugly.
 


Why all this sudden activity with GS? It's been quiet for a very long time. I will tell you why. Avoid paying severances. I advise everyone to be pretty damn perfect on expense reports etc.. right now. We are getting ready to do more layoffs. This is just cut throat Abbott trying to trim the ranks a little before the layoffs. After the Kos merger, Abbott is definitely one of the coldest most cut throat calculating companies out there. Working Mother Magazine where are you now?
 


Wanted to make you all aware that Global Security is not just at Abbott but used by several companies. While still on Abbott's payroll, not anymore, I learned about and have documented events relative to GS. First this company knows I have this info and are afraid that I will blow the whistle. Since my termination, they have people in my neighborhood, follow everywhere, calls (anony.) to my phones, tapped my phone lines, and this is just the tip of the iceberg...... I have assistance and have protection from a legal team. I got too close which has gone beyond Abbott. If you have similar information or are being harass, please respond.

I guess this was the same response given when it was discovered that politicians and important personnel stated that their mail/phone was hacked in London. Some people have gone to jail. Let's see what people in this company and OEC will be in the news.

Not sure who or what runs CP, but if they're giving up IP addresses to pharma companies that ruins the integrity of this "anonymous" site. Is it anonymous or isn't it? That is the question.
