Massive corporate failures like the 2008 crash or dot com crash happened in eras without “DEI” where exec teams were predominantly white and male. And by the way this is still true.

DEI makes it so less qualified non-white people get jobs over a more qualified candidate, if that candidate happens to be white. It's affirmative action and it serves no purpose in the professional arena. If you think white people hold any advantage at being hired over anyone else, you are racist and delusional.

Or the one before him, another white male, DEI hire? A company led by a white male who got there due to his networking skills with a predominantly white male board and ELT, has DEI to blame for being in a sorry spot! Amazing analysis skills.
Current ELT has 9 males - Chris, David, Ben, Adam, Geg, Peter, Robert (7/9) are all amazing at their job and got where they are due to their leadership skills and not for being white male. No one has ever heard any of them being trashed on this board for their lack of skills. Right? 2/9- a latino & a indian male are the DEI hires and root cause of the problems at BMS. Right?
Or no it is the women 7 vs 9 men? And guess what 5/7 women are white and the most competent and deserving of their roles - Cathi, Lynelle, Kim, Amanda, Karin. Right? We have never heard anyone blame them for anything here at this board. It's those 2/7 women- Sandra & Cari who are DEI and responsible for what ails BMS. Right?

The most common advise in corporate world - build your network, network is what opens doors for you, gets you hired, gets you promoted ... hard work does not matter. And guess which group has an existing club that is more than willing to welcome same gender and same skin colored individuals to the club irrespective to their qualifications or merit? When forced to open doors to people who are unlike the existing members of the club is painful cause now it's more than your network and someone actually looking at merit of the applicant.

But we white males do not believe in facts because facts are not facts. We love our victim-hood as equality in opportunity has been an alien concept to us. So down with D(iversity)E(quality)I(nclusion). We want U(niformity of skin color and gender)I(nequality in pay and opportunities)E(xclusion of anyone who is unlike us)
 


DEI programs are in place so that less qualified white people do not take up all the jobs. Race should never be included in job applications as a mandatory requirement. Veteran and disability status should be noted after the job is offered. The hiring team should be blinded for names and gender.

Join BNOW or BOLD or whatever group you fit in & drive it. These groups are meant to build all you seek. Nothing happens overnight
