got a DSM interview next week. Any insight

What is the best way to see when they/if I am getting an interview. I have an offer from Amgen and have to reply by 5 tomorrow night. Help needed please.

Truthfully, take the Amgen job if it is offered. There is no denying that Amgen is a great company and they treat their employees very well. They have the best 401k in the industry and there are so many areas to be promoted within. I'm not trying to be a douche as I'm not bashing Regeneron, but Amgen will be a great gig too. Amgen's benefits exceed Regeneron.

This is very true

I have an interview next week for a DSM position. I was looking for some insights.

Expect a very traditional behavioral style interview. They are not looking for your insight on the product etc, simply examples of your leadership background and management style. Individual interviews where you will be scored then a group presentation. There will be only 2 candidates brought in for each DM territory. REGN is basically a traditional pharma company. They act like a cutting edge biotech sadly they are not. Those who join will sadly learn this. I have been here since the launch of Eyelea, good company, not great...its a job.

I think that is a point well taken. At the end of the day, that is what I have heard about the company as well and the pay isn't out of this world either. Good but not great.

That crap is such BS. It really is. If they plan to do that type of big Pharma interviewing like "tell me about a time....," instead of being real in an interview and looking at past, proven performance then it is very telling what this company will be like.

You're getting interview advice from cafe pharma and you're calling something BS? How could we possibly manage this company without you and the dumpster fire you call your brain?

First of all A-hole, I'm not the OP. I am simply adding to the conversation. If they are going to ask those type of BS big Pharma regurgitated questions, it is very telling. So F&ck off you complete idiot. Clearly you have no brain.

The pay is average to maybe a bit higher than the norm. The bonus plan is close to industry standard. Every company says uncapped bonus. In the grand scheme of things, that means nothing. So many hands are in the cookie jar with this product so don't expect enormous bonus payouts. It's just not going to happen. Long term, especially if all goes well with the launch, regeneron will be acquired by Sanofi.

If you were here since the launch in ophthalmology...you would know how to spell the name of the drug
