DW has strengths but it is not aligned to leading people.
He is a simple task manager that needs to be aligned w those skills in a single point accountability role like marketing, or operations.

I would agree with that. He's def got skills just not front line leader skills and that's a big issue for his team. It's a shame.
 






Give Wendy a break. This is her very first 2nd line management job. She has only been in the role 8 months and inherited Dwight.
She might lack managerial courage with Dwight and Ronald while have poor eye for talent hiring Brian, but give her 6 more months before blasting her.
My bet Dwight will be reassigned to a role back in marketing or operations and Brian will be fired again.
 


You can thank JG for the MAGA elements that crept into the division, and ultimately, his enabler, Chris F with his annoying nasal voice for putting him in HIV, where he had ZERO business being. Now those two are "together again" at some company that would be a creep-show at best. Be glad they are gone, but their remnants are still felt, sadly enough.
I will give them both and even DW for actually being decent business people, but they just are not a fit in a division that requires open mindedness and acceptance of marginalized communities.
 


Jeff might not have been a good fit politically but he drove sales. Bill Clinton wasn't the best husband or father but was the best Democrat POTUS ever with results!
So it comes down to the job, not if you are a good or bad person.
We all know what DW is as a person and his history, but DW is out of role period.
He needs a job with no direct reports.
All that said, would still take him over the expansion backfill Wendy hired.

All the reps can't figure out that hire and now we question Wendy's leadership with her hires.
We are just happy our territories are high demand for Prep and we don't really need any RD.

I can see him as a solid cookie box Trainer but should not be leading people.
He is just a task manager and repeat cookie cutter directional guy. He will never be even a decent leader until he has humility. Which will never happen as he is too arrogant.
But excellent at acting a woke liberal brand being a hard core conservative anti-LBGTQ guy. Even down to his colorful wardrobe and bling bling jackets to "act the part"

Wendy needs to step up to show some managerial courage and take ownership of other new hires. Her personal new hire RDs have really hurt her reputation with reps. We love her enthusiasm but the hires have made us question her eye for talent.
 


It will never happen with her. She changes jobs frequently so when she moves on to something else then her mess will be cleaned up.
Well, unless Ronald backfills then he will keep DW.
