How is it to work here?

You'll love it here at Phadia. Wished I had found out about this place earlier! Few, if any, layoffs, everyone gets along well, sales numbers are easy to make quarter after quarter, management treats you fairly and the overall work environment is A+! All DM's are highly trained in diagnostics, work well with their reps and provide continuous positive reinforcement to their underlings.

Heh, what's not to like about working here? Ask anyone. Don't read the negative posts here as they are not real. Very little rep supervision is what turned me on. DM only works with me 1X/year. Been a top performer each and every quarter as quotas are realistic.

Brilliant summary! I concur heartily. You could not find a better place, with more competent managers. Moral support from the highest level down. People treated with respect. You will get noticed here, and thanked for taking your part as strategy advisor. Company has integrity! A++++++++

Well said! Constructive comments are always welcome as they improve the overall competence and worthiness of the company. Speak your mind if you should run into an underperforming manager (highly unlikely). Just let HR know and they will take immediate action on your behalf. Lowest man on the totem pole usually wins out. Since all current managers at Phadia are A++ you should not encounter an issue of this type. Phadia managers must pass extremely stringent requirements before hire . . . . . . . some of the most stringent requirements in the industry. Only 1 out of 55 interviewed is ever made a manager here.

It's a very open environment here so "speaking your mind" is always welcome and encouraged!

Right on, great advice colleagues! Good luck to all interviewers. Please understand that we expect of you that you will demonstrate the excellent humane characteristics of all leadership here. They take notes of all wise things you say, to share when they feel it will serve, themselves and all of us. You may even be called into a meeting just to discuss your wisdom. Any of your past history will never be taken into account. Leadership lives very much in the present. They are wise, and you should be also.

Working for Phadia is as close to working in a perfect environment as one can get. Scepticism abounded when I was first told that Phadia is close to a perfect company. Didn't believe it, even after my 1st interview. Took the chance and joined the team in the SW last year. On a scale of 0-10 . . . . . . . . . a 9.5 in my book! That's pretty darn good in this day and age of super incompetent management and many companies not knowing what the heck they are doing.

Would recommend this outfit to anyone who is looking for an exceptional diagnostics sales experience . . . . . plus, the desire to express ones opinion without reprimand, fair managers that are always looking out for the welfare of their reps, upper management that is always in tune with field sales and the satisfaction of knowing you did a good days job when you arrive home each evening. Even received a birthday card from my manager . . . . . . . certainly a nice gesture!

You may decide to make this a life-time career as many are planning to do. Many stay as the advancement road to management, although rigorous, is easily achievable by those that show promise and express an interest. No "brown-nosing" here as one usually finds at other companies! You are solely judged on your merits.

Come see for yourself if you are interested.

agree with above, but considering the high quality of top management would make the experience here an 11.5. Extra points for civility and respect for everyone. Plus, you can feel good knowing the generous social welfare viewpoint adopted in addition to sales strategy. The question we ask is always what can we give? How can we help?

I think all of these comments were written by the same person. Get a life you bored fuckers. May Karma come to you all! Looks like it already has if you are working at Phadia!

Recognize upper management on a couple of the posts. But that's OK particularly since Phadia is such a homogeneous organization. Unlike most companies, whether they be device, diagnostics or pharma, Phadia runs like a well-oiled machine most of the time. Both management and sales reps are most appreciative of this type of work environment since it is so rare in todays workplace. Most of us are so lucky to have found this jewel in the haystack.

lol

Couldn't have said it better! "A jewel in a haystack" or "Get'in lucky on ones 1st date"! Both sum up the feeling of the majority of employees here. Original poster should feel confident of making the right decision to interview and join up. It's a chance of a life-time that is not heavily advertised nor well known . . . . . . truly a jewel of an opportunity as mentioned earlier.

My DM calls me every other day to make sure my attitude is positive and upbeat and ready to greet my new customers who want to hear about in-vitro allergy and all of its benefits. Told him that he didn't have to call me that often as the Phadia mantra and positive well-being emanating from all employees is so pervasive and understood. He said that he understood and would try to limit his calls to perhaps 1 or 2 times/week. Have you ever worked for such an understanding manager? Never have, here!

This is the norm . . . . . . . . a very impressive company where most employees are on their best behavior, willing to extend a helping hand and always have an objective listening ear! What more can one ask for?

Wow, have you ever had this happen before? Your manager giving you your birthday off? Have always thought of myself as just a good, solid worker for whomever my employer was. Just a good, hard working employee that never expected such great treatment! Feel special now and Phadia has made me feel like a "king"! I owe so much to Phadia that I may leave part of my 401K in my will to them! Thanks, Phadia for making me feel worthwhile. BTW . . . . . . a 3-year veteran sales here.

Why you bitches trifilin'??? I'm watching the Bad Girls Club to get revved up for my day tomorrow and my DM can smell my asshole for a change. Today it's cherry red. Happy selling bitches!!!

Yes, the lab has exactly what you need to help insure a perfect day tomorrow. It's CPT Code #8864354 . . . . . . . . the sIgE ImmunoCAP screen for the Cornholio Ab. It's present in the serum of individuals who were infected with the Cornholio virus. Phadia uses only the most purified Cornholio antigen for its ImmunoCAP as other like "holios" do not offer any cross reactivity. A positive result (1+ or great) will insure that you are infected with the Cornholio and guarantees a nice session with your manager.

Oh dear....don't listen to any of this rubbish.

Oh dear....don't listen to any of this rubbish.

You are absolutely correct! This is all rubbish was created by poor performers or disgruntled employees.

My manager is FANTASTIC! I got the stomach flu which caused severe dehydration and I landed in the hospital for a few days. My manager really went the extra mile for me and called the hospital to speak with my nurse on duty about my medical condition.

I had already texted/called my manager regarding my illness and gave my hospital room phone number. Instead of calling or texting me directly, my manager took the extra time and effort by calling the nurse directly. Can you believe that? In this day, what employer would do such a selfless act! The nurse told me that my sibling called and wanted to know detailed information about my condition!! The nurse had never had a family member so inquisitive. My "sibling" even requested to speak to the doctor on call.

Turns out it was my manager (not my sibling) who wanted to make sure that I was given the royal treatment because I was such an asset to the team. My manager earned my trust and respect!!!! You'll love Phadia - always looking out for your best interests!

Yep, great story about your manager going far beyond the call of duty! Can all of these posts be wrong? Don't think so. Truly a shining jewel in the haystack! It's fortunate that many of us found Phadia and its unconventional approach to treating its employees. Have yet to see any "bad mouthing", back-stabbing, put downs and nastiness exhibited by any Phadia employee to another. Quite amazing in this day and age of downsizing and uncertainty.
