Doctor, I'm sure your Applied rep is a good guy, and I hope you feel sorry for him and use the GelPOINT. He's spending all day going around to get signatures from surgeons saying that they want to try our energy. He doesn't get paid for that. But while your rep is probably a good guy he has to report up to some morons. Applied is ran by some of the dumbest people in the industry. You'd be shocked if you knew the half of it.
 
















If u get a 70k salary I would say 125k is fair. But ask about the territory and GPOs.

And I would read on here about the manager and Zone Director. Typically both are losers and will blame you for not closing biz.

Take this offer and parlay it to a real medical job

I'm up in the Northwest. The recruiter told me that it has been in the top three performing zones for the past several years and the only reason the position is opening is because of a reorganization and the rep that had all the accounts has been shifted to focus on one system.

Red flags came up when they used the top 3. That seemed a little canned and bs to me. Also if this areas is top 3 why did they pull the rep away? If it was top 3 does that mean there is little room for growth? Also, the manager is new which is strange if the territory is so great. Does anyone know anything about this region?

I've looked on LinkedIn but I can't find anyone from Applied Medical in that area so I came here to ask.
 


I’m interviewing for a TM position this week. The manager said I can make $200k at 100% of comp plan. And they also are offering a retention bonus. Is he telling the truth?
