Interviewing for BDSI - honest feedback?

This place isn't as bad as posts make it sounds. I've been here for 2 years. Profits keep increasing which is good! Bonus has been solid. Upper management is terrible. Stock price is terrible (which makes no sense) so another sign of bad upper management. Culture is actually ok depending on your manager and how you are performing. The biggest problem that I've experienced is with recruiters...when trying to go get one of those "cool" pharma (start up or device) gigs out there with the big bases and RSU's...the industry just doesn't think highly of our company/sales force which is a big handcuff. And once patent expires...this company is done!

BDSI is no different than it was in 2015.

If you are desperate take it. Any position in the east won't be fun because the area director is the worst and that trickles down. Lots of terrible managers/micromanaging, two day field rides, no awareness of covid protocols or regard for guidelines.

Hey all - had a recruiter Reach out via LinkedIn for a position with BDSI - long story short I just want some true and honest feedback about how stable the company is during Covid, true commission plan, salary and culture

he told me it’s a great culture that pays for performance -75-85k salary +6k car allowance salary with middle of the road reps making 40k a year

I’m currently at a pharma company that I really do enjoy at 65k salary +8k salary and 40k commission

worth the jump?

YOU SHOULD NOT BE HIRED IF YOU ARE ENJOYING, ENJOYING???????? 65K SALARY
YOU ARE A BIG LOSER AND GO LOOK FOR JOB AT VENTIV

a RECRUITER CALLED ME and i turned down the job when i heard from a friend about how bad the place is , terrible bonus, bad DM, micromanagemet, nasty teammates. do not come here

instead of POA meetings, they should be called DNA meetings. Because of all the DNA that would be left around.

let’s see the ingredients...attractive people, away from home, good personalities, booze, nobody is watching. Bake overnight....and there you have it. The buns are in the ovens.
You forgot the main ingredient: pharmaceutical reps who have no ethics, morals, or standards!

Do not work here unless you are desperate! Poor leadership with toxic environment. Abusive to reps. Pay is poor and quarterly bonuses are garbage. Two three reps make big bonuses and everyone else is under $3000 a quarter. They will lie and tell you 40k a year for average reps.

Low bonus potential. $3k for everyone other than the top 3 is the norm.

CIII is better than CII on the basis of safety. On the basis of cost, insurance companies cover generic CII. It does not matter how good the product is, you have to find someone to pay for it. Medicare coverage sucks and that is almost half the market.

hi im thinking of interviewing here but is it a good idea to sell and opiate in today’s market? do you get micro managed?

1) No 2) Yes

Seriously best advice don't come here unless you're desperate and need a job! BDSI on your resume makes it difficult to get another job down the road. Get a reps # and ask them.

100% agree with this statement. And yes they will micromanage you to death. If you call someone I would call someone who has left. There is probably only 10 reps that have been at BDSI for 4-5+ years and are still here. I would avoid most of those people. The turnover rate at BDSI is nothing like I've ever seen, you should have plenty of people to call for advice.
