is Amgen in the field or working virtually?

Hahaha! No one has worked in the field since March of 2020. Some fiery very few) are doing a couple of days in the field but most are just driving around in circles to put miles on the car.

I work hard every day, following this formula:

1-enter a bunch of calls
2-bribe office manager to log into Engage call -let it run for at least 20 min and then tell SF its tremendous.
3-send some emails
4-send some letters
5-send at least 8 emails to Amgen colleagues thanking them for something and setting a future time to talk
6-talk to at least 4 district mates
7-do a DB&I class on HUB
8-read at least 3 Degreed courses and send out 6, including at least 1 to my DM and 1 to the Regional
9-review ATLAS and pawn off a few more non-writers to Otezla Nation-by the time those complainers figure out ATLAS, it will be too late
10-attend one or two teleconferences
11- most important, send multiple emails and texts to teleconference leaders complimenting them on their nimbleness, agility and positive impact on my motivation. As a bonus, use resonate or core competencies.

then, at 11am I go to my job at Wegman's.

I work 5 days/week in the field and get 5-8 calls/day in. I do not do a single tracker nor have I done a Veeva Engage since last September. I see my doctors any day I want to because I’m not annoying and I text them to let me in if their receptionist tries being a c*nt. I’m currently top 10 in the country and I just got a healthy raise last year as well. No one bothers you if you produce and have access...

The reps who don’t have access are the reps offices don’t like. News flash, if you’re saying, “that’s not me, they just have restrictive COVID policies,” you’re wrong. They probably just don’t like you because you were annoying while being stuck at home (or maybe before too) and now they have an excuse to never let you in again. And those cocky reps who think they’ve been around for 20 plus years and no one is letting them in now due to COVID? Yeah, you’re useless to them because you provide no value or help when they need it, not to mention condescending and arrogant so they don’t need you either...

Best advise, chill for a few months. Go to offices that don’t know you (because at least they don’t know the tool that you are) and start over with them. Maybe if you are good at what you do, you’ll get enough business for your boss to let it slide that you’ve pissed off all the top accounts by begging for Veeva Engage meetings and sending countless boxes of materials... Be mediocre for 6 months to a year to reset your baseline and give it another try after they’ve forgotten how annoying you were. That’s the formula for success if you currently have no access... it’s not them bro, it’s you...

this hilarious... seriously otezla nation is still spinning over ATLAS. This by far was Amgen’s greatest accomplishment over the last year
