Kowa base salary range?

Definitely difficult during a pandemic and they aren’t changing expectations. Products are a statin and a blood pressure med. Only selling point is side effect profile. Very very territory specific on success due to Medicare in the area.

20k commission a year is an above goal payout. It’s stable and a good pit stop but nothing more than that.

Looking at a position at Kowa, and wondering about the current mood here. Products doing well? I would be taking a big pay cut, but moving to a different geography bc of my spouse's job and this seems like a good fit.

Thanks for any info!

Base is 59-63k depending on region/experience. IC is another 22k if you hit your goals. Product launch coming in 3rd quarter 2021 should be exciting.

Have this in mine:
KOWA pays less than nay contract sales organization, period.
KOWA only pays $75 for cell phone.
Health Benefits more expensive
Fleet Vehicles are in the bottom of the options.
$20 for Car wash. Bonus max a year $22K if lucky
Management preference is micromanagement special in the NE region with Sam
When you start and at the beginning of every year you sign a document "Rep Expectations" that outlines all expectations you have to meet at KOWA (when they ever want to fire you they will go to the document).

Micromanaged constantly in the NE region. No stop conference calls, excel spreadsheets, business plans, emails, text messages, etc. from DM. Good flagship product with terrible managed care coverage. Base $57k-$65k to start depending on experience. Marginal health insurance coverage.

If you can get a good manager, Kowa is a decent, low-stress job. However, some managers literally make your life a living hell, Stay away from opening on either side of Pennsylvania.
