It is pretty sad, but the only time Quest employees get together to have a good time is when somebody leaves the company and everyone joins them for a drink at the local bar. Ironically, it seems more ex-Quest employees are showing up than current employees to wish them a better, brighter future as they have. Ever notice how much happier ex employees are than current????

If eveyone is leaving, then who will check my urine?

The ex-quest people that get together recognize a common bond. They did their best, put in very long hours, sacrificed relationships and family, and got kicked in the chops for their efforts. As a group, they still think, with the right leadership and vision, that this company could do great things for patients and stockholders. Not to be with the current weeding process for SLT. Ass kissing is rewarded, and the short term bottom line is recognized. Why does it take so long to spin the employee satisfaction results? We are ticked off, and walking out.

Who is buying this Friday? Cambridge tavern owners are getting rich on these events. (Except Polcari's in Kendall Square)

HAhahahaha.... in fact there is a going away, AGAIN this friday at either Azgard or Tavern! Another celebration, another loss for Quest ...and the doors continue to revolv...

for starters...this sounds like a line of b.s. nobody who has left would come back bid farewell to an ole comrad from company the once worked for.... secondy...i have worked for this company for quite awhile now and have certaintly figured out its downsides...biding farewell to those who decide to move on or retire is celebrated quite gracefeully...so lets not go there. Appearantly whoever wrote that was not part of the Quest team.

Wow, 3:02 am. Would you like to post again sober? (Friends don't let friends blog drunk.) Love your new words though: comrad, secondy, certaintly, gracefeully, Appearantly... LOL.

Who's next? Taking bets?

Yes, but please don't screw anyone that is still there yet. Cambridge has a very vindictive response to someone trying to better their situation in life. They only see the attempt at change or furthering oneself as disloyalty. Too bad they don't recognize what they do to the BU long term. Their culture is very sad...
