Lilly interview not in territory or at HQ?

I got a call the day after my f2f saying I was being moved forward in the hiring process. The next day I got an email with the consumer report release form that had to be filled out and faxed back in order to start the background check. Still don't know if it's a done deal...would like to hear something soon. Hope this helps.

I think you have a good chance for f2f IV. However, let me dash your hopes right away. This practice in pharma has been since last two years. It is one way to show that they are actively recruiting but --darn--there are no qualified workers remaining in US. If you are over 44 years of age...that is another negative on your forehead. No matter you are the POTUS, you will not get the job. THAT IS CALLED AGE CRIME AGAINST YOU.

Just as a part of due diligence, Lilly want to find out if you have had any history that does not compare with Mitch Daniels, ex-Lilly employee who now in his 2nd terms as governor of Indiana served Lilly's purpose well.

The Consumer Report is pretty straight forward - Credit history and Lexis-Nexis search. You can do yourself a favor knowing these two for under 100 buck. Who knows what your neighbor told one of the LP/SBI/FBI interviewer.

Great to know that you have had a good new. Please post how did your IV experience fared?

At the interviews HR said that it's basically a "one and done" interview process. Not a 3 and 4 interview process like usual. Those interviewing would be making the decision.

I think they're just hiring based on whether they think the person can do the job, not whether it's a personality fit with the manager.

I thought the interview was very professional and on point. Perhaps it just depends on who was doing the interviewing.

You are dreaming. Lilly does not tolerate people who "think different" -- have been told as much many many times. Good luck tho.
