With the upcoming price increase we are going to be fighting off Aggrastat more and more in 2009. They are only 40% of the cost of Integrilin and there is no data head to head to say one is better than the other. I have a couple big accounts looking at switching. Hopefully PC decides to restructure territories for the 10th time since I started working here and I will lose those two accounts before they convert.

We can't afford a North American spin again. Otherwise INTEGRILIN will become a North American drug.
Bad news already - Integrilin is only a North American product as extremely little used anywhere else. Same is true for Reopro. Why do you think GSK paid for a shorter infusion study out of that renowned cardiology city, Vancouver ? May want to know ON TIME 2 study in preparing for EARLY ACS.

Mark's mother is in critical condition due to a STEMI and a stroke caused by an aortic dissection that wrecked havoc on her entire artirial tree. Think it happened a couple days ago. Does anyone have an update to her status?

My understanding is that Mark's mom passed away yesterday. Being of a cardiac nature I am sure Mark had the best of the best in Chi-Town treating his mother. Our prayers go out to him and his family.

The guy laid it on the line every day at Schering. He gave his all to the CCG group and did everything in his power advance the Integrilin brand. He is now doing the same thing abroad with his new company.

Anyone who had worked with Mark would know how his ethics and desire to do the "right thing" are among the highest in this or any industry. SGP is poorer for not being able to find him a spot to take advantage of his intelligence and talents. I am sure there are many others that one could put in a similar category but Mark's departure with all that has transpired was just another example of his sense of timing.

This X sounds like a real winner! Women dating men 10 and 20 years younger is all the rage today. Thank American Pie and Stiffler's Mom for creating the "Craddle Crazy". If this story is true Mark is better off if he is no longer with her.
Also, Mark sorry to hear about your mother. It has been nearly 4 years since I left Schering-Plough and equally as long since we have connected sorry about that also.
