Now this is great! Even though I work here, I have to say I would do the exact same thing if I found a competitor was cheating and lying like this. If you will participate in such deceptive activities to get some business, what else are you willing to do for business? We sell the merits of SM products, our ability and willingness to provide great customer service, and we respond to our customers needs in a timely way. My RM would NEVER do this and I would resign if she ever did.

SAM

Hey, take your time hiring the SAM for the MA. What's the rush? They can handle it for another year or so. If you are the candidate for the job, do you have any idea what you are about to get yourself into? Put it this way, if you have a family or someone you actually care about, do not do this job for this company and especially for that RM. You will be so sorry in less than 30 days. You will be expected to work 90 hours a week, travel 5 states in one week, leave on Sundays and come home on Friday nights or Sat AM. Oh, they didn't tell you that? Do this, bring your spouse to the final interview and let him/her ask about the time you will be away from home. The RM, as "nice" as you may think she is right now, does nothing but work. All day. All night. All weekend too. She won't let you do anything on your own. Good luck in your search, but don't stop here. Fair warning!
 




Every month end I just have to laugh at how we go about our business. Gee, let's see. Do the people who had a great Sept and made their 3Q quota have a bit of a deficit this month? I wonder why that would be? Roe, can you help us with this too? It's so comforting to know that Roe, and the other home office people, are "there and ready to help with anything we need". Like what? You sound like a moron. Get a grip. I love how the fact that the NE is basically shut down causes her to try to act like she's empathetic and really cares. NO SALE! If you really want to help, then understand how bad these areas have been hit and give them a couple of extra days to get their orders in! Like it matters anyway. Its the first month of the quarter. Who gives a crap about October?! Have an early cocktail and relax folks. It aint gonna matter until December 30!
 


Here we go again! No chance of making bonus but I'm supposed to go get as much as I can?? Haha! Not happening. I'll be off to a good start in Q2 though! Stop the madness!!
 


Why are any of us putting these orders in? If you cannot make your quota, you're just throwing next month and quarter and any chance at bonus in April out the window! How dumb are you/we!!!??? Stupid as can be!
 


Hey nobody here understands what they are doing to themselves by placing orders this month with NO chance of making it! We just laugh our asses off every time we see another one! Look at it this way: every dollar of orders you place these last days are dollars that you have to make up next month and, if it it doesn't put you over the top in March, you're just plain STUPID!! Little or no bonus this month and certainly no bonus next month because you sold in so much product their next order won't be until May! Allergan thanks you tho!!

The desperation of this company is a sure sign that things are not going well.
 


I have to admit that I use to think this site was for disgruntled employees that had nothing better to do than say rediculous things about the company that they work for. It has been probably 8 years ago that I actually read a cafe pharma board. Wow, everything that I have read on the board about this company since reps started posting are so true to the way that I also feel. Allergan, wake up. We have a lot of amazing reps here that will not be here if the company continues to treat reps with disrespect and unfairness. If I didn't witness unfairness myself, I would have never believed it. It is a shame that a company with such amazing products actually has a 50 percent turnover rate with employment. The goals are unrealistic. Allergan expects to grow at a rate of 17 percent a year. You are a hero if you attain that goal. With SKM, you are expected to grow anywhere from 30 to over 65 percent just to make your number. And there is no magic number, it is just pulled out of the sky. Really people, how many of you attained 80 overall for a payout first quarter. Has anyone noticed that if you have a low Latisse quota that your skin care quota is off the chart and vise versa. Where is the logic SkM. Allergan, how long does the madness need to continue before more great reps jump ship. It's truly sad what is being done....little robots and for what?
I wish everyone out there good luck as Allergan moves through the crap to make SKM a better place to work. Just treat us like a rep that works for Allergan and everything will be ok. Wake up and make life easier for everyone before it is too late. I care about my accounts, act like you do too.
 


The above post is very well put. The required growth rates with absolutely no logic applied to their development is just out of control. Then, top that off with next to no communication as to how the quota's are established. It's like they just appear in a dream and the next thing we know, poof, a quota that's 40 - 60 percent higher than last year! The current model actually discourages us from performing to our highest level. The mentions in this thread about calling in orders the last few days of a month and quarter that we cannot make is true. Why should we do that? Not only does it kill next month bonus too, I get no benefit from it this month or quarter and, then I'm forecasted against it next year! It's like a triple loss! Allergan, listen to these issues and set a course for fixing it or at least communicating the logic being used so we may understand.

Allergan you bought a disaster.
 




I like making quota at 85% but is 20% above last year and last Qtr. nets me no bonus dollars but the company pockets my growth and just says, sorry, quota wasn't attained. Too bad! Not to mention the time I put in this job to get that! Dealing with psychotic, foam dripping from her mouth RM is just perfect too! Me? Looking? You figure it out aholes!
