They wore me out.
Now this is great! Even though I work here, I have to say I would do the exact same thing if I found a competitor was cheating and lying like this. If you will participate in such deceptive activities to get some business, what else are you willing to do for business? We sell the merits of SM products, our ability and willingness to provide great customer service, and we respond to our customers needs in a timely way. My RM would NEVER do this and I would resign if she ever did.
Hey nobody here understands what they are doing to themselves by placing orders this month with NO chance of making it! We just laugh our asses off every time we see another one! Look at it this way: every dollar of orders you place these last days are dollars that you have to make up next month and, if it it doesn't put you over the top in March, you're just plain STUPID!! Little or no bonus this month and certainly no bonus next month because you sold in so much product their next order won't be until May! Allergan thanks you tho!!
The above post is very well put. The required growth rates with absolutely no logic applied to their development is just out of control. Then, top that off with next to no communication as to how the quota's are established. It's like they just appear in a dream and the next thing we know, poof, a quota that's 40 - 60 percent higher than last year! The current model actually discourages us from performing to our highest level. The mentions in this thread about calling in orders the last few days of a month and quarter that we cannot make is true. Why should we do that? Not only does it kill next month bonus too, I get no benefit from it this month or quarter and, then I'm forecasted against it next year! It's like a triple loss! Allergan, listen to these issues and set a course for fixing it or at least communicating the logic being used so we may understand.
