One bucket!

Won another PC last night. I’m sure it’s my last here. All my manager talked about was the next rounds of layoffs. No big surprise it seems. He nailed the Trulance elimination almost to the week. He said Tom mishandled it some since it was spread out over two events. It was suppose to happen on the first one. Let’s see how accurate he is this time.
Are you one of the “humbled and honored” that posts all their PClub wins on LinkedIn? Jesus. I work here and can’t believe how many pretend they are being humble bragging on social media and sharing pictures with Jabba and Irish Olive Oil on stage.

Someone please tell the dummy manager in NY that it’s impossible to be “incredibly humbled and proud.” It’s one or the other dipshit. And there is no such word as “testiment.” Fix your linked in post stupid.

Trying to get the internal scoop on this company and cafe pharma isn’t looking too good, but I understand nobody comes to cafe pharma to praise their company. I am interviewing for a GI/Pain position for trulance and relistor. Pay is more than what I make currently but I do not have to leave my current company. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Genuinely would not recommend taking the job. The company has no respect for their reps, the management is completely unchecked for their misconduct and you are constantly cheated out of bonuses. I held on for a while, tried to “Drink the kool-aid”… but unless you can follow blindly and say yes to anything, you will just be under appreciated. HCPs don’t care about the products and the company has no desire to support you in market access. Ridiculous KPIs as well! Extremely happy to have left!

I would not take the job, especially if you are currently employed and only considering it for the salary bump. Working for Salix was the lowest point in my career, and I’m not a spiteful person. The truth is.. the managers are never held responsible for misconduct, as a “younger” rep I have seen first hand the age discrimination towards the “older” reps, or the down right sexual harassment at every national meeting. Also, the company condones selling in the grey area. Not to mention, they find any way to keep you from hitting your goals for IC. There are a lot of snakes in that pit.. I wouldn’t even recommend this job to someone reaching out through LinkedIn with an in-mail asking to break into the industry!

All of this is true. I cannot tell you how happy I am after leaving this toxic company. They will screw you out of your bonuses. The mangers get away with harassment and discrimination. If you go to HR they will find a way to get rid of you. I’m shocked someone hasn’t filed a lawsuit yet. Don’t leave your current company!

There’s some truth in what people are saying. At the end of the day if you get a good manager here, it’s not too bad. That said… there’s no future here especially on the Trulance relistor team.

This could all change if we get some new products but they’ve been telling us new products are coming for as long as I can remember and I’ve been here for a looooong time.

Go look at our stock. Stay where you’re at if you like it.

The managers suck here! They offer no value. Furthermore, our offices get so sick of seeing them every damn month! My significant other thinks something is going on with myself and manger because of all the ride alongs.
