Run from Galderma Rx

I came to cafepharm the first time to understand more about this company. I am a dermatologist and a little weary of the info I am receiving from the company about its products. I was told at a conference if you want to learn about the company go to forums like cafepharma. I have not had the positive experience I was promised by Flemming and US leaders - syringes are broken, we don't know if the temp was maintained, drug hasnt reached on time. Itch relief is enticing but I am not sure if a first time drug launch by this company is good. Also, from what I am reading, there is a lot of dissent about leadership. Frustrating and annoying for Drs. like me.

I don’t have any affiliation with this company but can tell you that you should not rely on this site for anything other than the opinions of sales people looking for, involved in and/or willing to start drama. While some threads may begin with a kernel of truth, you’ll see that they usually devolve into some crazy direction.

Sales people on this site are mostly unhinged. Reality is that you also have more senior leaders posting on here and if you are able to recognize their messages you will find out that Galderma does indeed have an issue with its leadership an Flemming in particular. He is the one who is responsible for high employee turnover, lack of company culture and thus lack of customer care & focus, pushing sales at all cost (sorry if you have issues, defective products or are overstocked), mostly for his own benefit. Products are overall decent but Flemming is not.

All these posts and Nemo are beating all estimates. We got derms prescribing Nemo to patients with AD without formal approval because the drug is so good. Dupi owns the market but PBMs loves competitions for more rebates so of course they will push Nemo. This site would be a good source of information if there were some positive posts but every post about every company is a rant.

I call this the Galderma paradox! Sales are doing well despite the lack of innovation and high employee turnover. Usually a strong company culture and collaborative environment is the basis for high performance. At Galderma the opposite is true.

Morale is low because sales targets are unattainable across all the business units. The underlying problem is EQT owns 50% of Galderma and plan to exist within the next 12 months. I'm sure you guys can deduct that extreme cost cutting and impossible growth are planned for 2025. Crazy to think that growing double digit YoY and stock up 50% since IPO in March and employees may not get bonuses. Leadership works for the shareholders and they are willing to pay a premium for top talent which is why they moved to Boston.

Thank you for replying to my posts above about broken syringes and not being able to keep promises. Data on the drug looks pretty good but there’s other options. I am not sure if I can say Nemluvio is beating estimates. I only know about my office and my peers. We are all pretty frustrated. We want to prescribe but there is no coordinated message on science. I am not comfortable with what my rep has communicated. The company seems very much in it to generate NBRx and create headlines. It has been disappointing to see the lack of level on engagement from the TLLs, MSLs and Sales.

For the doctor commenting on here. Mind your own business. Round here we act like a n episode of Yellowstone. We don’t care about your opinion as long as the ASDs are pulling $400Gs and senior leaders are pulling 2x to that. Go away little doctor man.

Something will happen to Galderma once EQT steps out (split?). Until then it’s going to be an insane pressure on generating sales and cutting even more costs. All Flemming cares about is making as much money for himself before exiting. Brace yourselves!

I have spoken to Flemming a few times at conferences. He is a Doctor and I am sure he understands the needs for patients. Is he really only money minded to let what seems like a cultural discord to fester? I guess every company has issues. What I am facing in my practice here is the fact that folks don’t know how to respond to 2nd level depth questions and it seems like all the field teams I am interacting with are giving me different messages.

The problem starts at the head - Remove Deb Hagen. She is not fit to lead a large launch. She was a measly executive director up until 2023 and politics bitch AL brought this stupid person in. SHE DOESNAT KNOW ANYTHING and interacts with HCPs like a bumbling bafoon.

Money is more important to Flemming then doing the right thing for the business, the workforce and even the patients. His medical ethics are non-existent in his role as CEO.

Yes they do. But the number of disgruntled employees at Galderma is off the charts. It used to be a great company but it’s now just a shadow of itself. Flemming and EQT have destroyed morale, goodwill, culture… Whilst posts on this site are not a reference, the ratio between these and the size of Galderma should tell you something.

I work in the Dallas office and I can tell you that there are some moles here. Daphne Teague in FP&A along with her boss David Cocks are horrible people. Another asshole in the office is Mike Shires. With these people around and ratting on everyone, how is anyone supposed to think freely and in the best interest of the company. It is all about how to protect yourself and collect a paycheck. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT JOIN THIS COMPANY.

Repeat once more - don’t join this company if you can avoid it at all. Toxic environment combined with ongoing uncertainty and relentless pressure.
