If he cut back on his daily latte, he could donate at least $5 more each day. That’s at least 10 more babies to feed each day.

What do you expect. This company has so many bad leaders who get praise, and promotions because they repeat the Abbott cue card messages, like a religion. Hit social media, write something positive and distract from the real issue. Profit focus is great but the quality went way down. And if you have a poor leader get rid of them show them out But no they get promoted instead. The new head of heart failure Keith is a prime example, he is bringing his toxic style to a great group and creating the same mess he brought to that Neuro division. Make better products, and dump these bad leaders. Shameful.

This has got to stop! Poor leaders across many divisions. Shameful.

FDA commissioner Robert Califf said conditions at Abbott Nutrition's plant in Sturgis, Michigan, were "egregiously unsanitary" and allowed bacteria to spread.

House Subcommittee on Energy and Commerce on Wednesday, also citing insufficient hand-washing by staff and water pooling at the plant.

The Abbott Nutrition plant was shut down in February following complaints of illness in infants who consumed the products manufactured there, two of whom later died. The illnesses were linked to the environmental bacteria, cronobacter sakazakii.

The FDA could not link the infections in the infants directly to the plant, but the agency said stated the situation was a "highly unusual combination of events."
 






I don’t understand why Abbott didn’t broadcast Calamari’s testimony yesterday across Abbott TV’s and let everyone watch during work hours like they did for Robert Ford’s speech at CES in Las Vegas this year. It seems to be just as or even more important.

Chris Calamari’s answers were being spoon fed to him by attorneys off camera clearly. Guy was lying under oath. PR disaster.
 








As a retiree, I am ashamed by our ped nutrition management performance. When it comes to baby formula, sloppy manufacturing is criminal! Our company always prided itself on quality, now we are blasted every day in the press for our misdeeds. Upset and ashamed!!!!!! Bring back Miles!!!!!

A lot of current and former employees as well as Americans are angry with what is happening at Abbott. However bringing back Miles is not a good idea. Ford was his protege and the Sturgis problem has been simmering for a long time. A complete culture overhaul needs to happen and going back to Miles is like going back to the dark ages!!!
