Territory realignments, packages being offered, change of managers










If the number of reps in eye care was cut in half I guarantee the numbers would not go down at all.
There are too many people not working and cashing checks.
Yes! Managers can easily see who the offices know, who does programs or lunches, mileage on car, if certain people have been kicked out of and banned from ever walking in the door again from very large volume accounts. Wake up Regeneron! Wasting money on reps who are not working!

You’d think that people would look at attainment and then check where the business is coming from and actually contact offices to see “who” the reps are that they are seeing on a regular basis. Managers can ask questions or pay attention to how customers react. Even better ask to see new customers and maybe not be taken to the same ones over and over. I think the managers have a clue. Other things like expenses, programs, mileage, etc all can be factored In. HR can ask the people who work with these others about customer appointments. My Voice survey is also a great place to shed some light on things that may not be recognized.

The whole DEM experiment was a failure it was fantastic job for the DEM because no accountability and the retina community pushed back HARD. So much begging for access PW herself visiting offices being told we do not want 2 sales rep. Legacy MS team members being told to take the DEM MS reps out and their first bonus was based on MEETING their target list and the legacy MS was responsible for making that happen. Logging calls on doctors that everyone knows is a no see - that report exposed them a few years back and nothing was done. DEM goals are not based on their target list that was drawn up but on all prescribers in the territory. Zero accountability for DEM MS - and as for-the comment that Suesserman would be upset over where his experiment is now? It never should have been implemented he had no experience managing a field based sales organization but had MM blessings. One of many lapdogs doing the work of the dragonlady. Truth is they could have broke down a few territories and created new territories but nope nope nope reach in frequency share of voice.

This is 100% spot on. The MS team was supposed to be the QB but in the end was being guilted into sharing all of their intel with the DeMS and then in many cases the DeMS got the credit and recognition. Many offices in June of 2019 articulated that they didn’t want or need a second rep and it was learned early on that DR was not going to add to Eylea’s growth as projected.
Sad state of affairs here , let’s see what prefilled and updated label will do though the animosity between teams is worse than ever

Sales reps should t be MSL. That should be reserved for those with science and medical background. Thats why sales and medical are not near each other at conventions.

Each director wants something different and also has to have diversity on each team. Sometimes even though someone is better qualified the director’s hands are tied because they have to have a diverse team.

Why does upper management allow DEMs to get credit for every single vial sold in the area they overlap with the MS? My DEM counterpart ONLY calls on a couple of high profile physicians and some others once or twice a year. He has never met physicians in some top accounts but he still gets credit for EVERYTHING! I have a collection of fake calls recorded in Veeva including calls on people who left the practice years ago and no see physicians. Great job making the DEMs the lead for the VAs and then calling us back in because they did such a poor job launching HD. Please explain to me how a rep who is banned from certain accounts is still getting credit for vials sold in those accounts!
