The decision to permanently close the Somerset site was not made lightly, it was made after careful consideration and as part of a long-term commercial network strategy. While the 483 was considered as a part of our decision-making process, the final decision to close the site was based on a variety of factors. It was a very difficult decision to make, but it is one that I believe is in the best interest of Akorn.
The decommissioning and wind-down of the Somerset site begins today.
Thought this pig was supposed to sell by the end of 2022? No takers yet?
