Trouble with the BioReference acquisition

I have it on good authority that the BioReference acquisition could be delayed up to 90 days. During our due diligence process, some troubling compliance issues have surfaced that must be resolved. Stay tuned......

The acquisition is not going to be delayed. The announcement will take place in January as planned. Stop spreading rumors. Nothing can stop this now. BioReference is as good as ours now.

Q2 of what year....this was going to happen around 2015 as I recall and again in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019

According to our recollection, the closest you’ve ever come to the Clinical Laboratory Industry was for your court ordered drug screens. Those of us, who are actually in the business know the difference between previous loose rumors and a billion dollar acquisition that is months, if not days away.

Dean Landis is telling people it is not going to happen. Most knowledgeable person at Bio. If it was going to happen he would know. After all nothing gets past him.

I’m certain DL is acting in good faith for all the right reasons. Your statement about him however was completely disingenuous. Good luck trying to bait others into criticizing him. Dean is a top notch representative, with decades of experience. But he’s obviously not the most knowledgeable person at BioReference, by virtue of his position. We all know who the point people are, because we put them there. Everyone needs to calm down. Everything is going as planned.

There are several contingencies with this acquisition and obtaining an iron clad contract with DL is at the top of that list and is absolutely non-negotiable. There’s no value in purchasing business, if it can’t be transferred and Dean, with all of his knowledge and experience, is the key to that.

Spot on. It’s the new generation of employees over there that destroyed that company. Having a guy like Dean on point during the transition will be critical for success. Hope this helps.

BioReference will be ours, for a price that we will dictate, the minute that we agree to purchase it. And yes, Dean and Cindy will be on board and under contract with Quest Diagnostics prior to any decision. 2020 will be a record breaking year for growth with all of the credit going to our Leadership Team.

No Dean, No Deal. The business must be transferred and that can’t be accomplished without Dean.

Some are speculating that he’s being offered a prominent, high level management position to secure his involvement and to oversee the long term maintenance of the newly acquired business. Is Cindy going to be out going forward?

No. Her enthusiasm, agility and memberships will be critical in the months to come. Not to mention her innate leadership qualities and proven track record of driving continuous sales growth for all lines of business. Thankfully, we can all look forward to the culture of teamwork and collaboration that is now known to be her hallmark.
