Unionize!

Thanks to those that know what RESPONSIBILITY means. This "other" person is typical of his kind...their self-righteous, full of hate, and thinks everybody owes them. Obviously, if he's been employed by JnJ or someone else, he's not poor, soooo....let's just hope HE/SHE either gives some of HIS hard earned dollars to others, volunteers, or just becomes philanthropic instead of FORCING others to just give it to them!

Go to Amgen message board. There is a post for unionizing that has some great posts. There is a strong arguement why we can change the life we've been living with this company. Airline Stewardess are the prime example. They were misused, abused, and had no cover, but once they unionized the airlines give them respect, pensions and they can retire way past 50. Can we say that? We have to do something, otherwise, this nonsense will continue forever. BTW, this is sticky subject and the forces from above will fight this with vigor.

The perfect union.....your lips and my ass

dummy, drop the republican rap. Its not about entitlement. It's about responsibility. There are indians and Chiefs. Not everybody is suppose to be a Chief. Most of us our Indians. If you're lucky enough to be a Chief (thank your Gods) You have a responsibility to help the Indians. Just like you have a responsibility to help you Grand parents or anybody else that needs assistance. If you're blessed with leadership, take your blessing, be humble, and help others, you piece of uneducated sh*t.

We prefer Native Americans.

You Socialist MTF.
Go hang out with Obama.

I can't wait for you to you get old. What are you going to do when you're old, sponge off your children or the system you F**ckin socialist. You're 80 year old ass won't get a hand out by me you homeless piece of sh*t . Pull yourself up by your wornout bootstraps you Obama hater! No hand outs for you, old man!

hey, I can see you have your own business. Canofsh*t.com. I like to order two cases of
pigsh*t vacumed packed, dry iced. Quick delivery. I think you can handle that.

I market it as fertilizer for some areas. Heating fuel for the poorer areas.
For you, let's just call it your staple diet.
Which cardboard box do you live in?

My, my...such anger. You Obama lovin', kool-aid drinking, idiots just can't handle the truth.
I guess you're hoping to live off Social Security.

Wisconsin is the beginning of the end of unions period. Their demise will hurt us all whether we are in a union are not. Even if we don't have a union we should support the unions. It was nice to make the last cut we may not make the next one.

I don't think 'Wisconsin' will have such significant long-term consequences. The Republican party is currently in the grip of a wave of bumper-sticker politics, which have everything to do with short-sighted fear of the Tea party, and very little with responsible government. But it won't last. At the end of the day politicians know that voters expect them to be good managers, not provide mass entertainment through amateur theatrics, and both sides will have to cool off, sit down and negotiate. Today's muscular proclamations are tomorrow's embarassing memories.

As for the unions, people tend to focus far too much on their (many) mistakes, and they forget to what a great extent this country owes its prosperity to industrial action and people joining forces to defend their rights. If they had not done so, the USA would have become a mere banana republic, with an impoverished population and a fragile economy. Never mind stewardesses; the real historic achievements predate mass air transport by a few decades.

Ya thats the answer to all the problems Unionize.... That will save everyones job... Of course why hasnt someone else thought of it. Cause we all see how well being in a union is helping the auto industry. No wounder some of you people who are on this board are on here and not running any companies.....

Why Unionize? I say license. After all you must possess a license to sell real estate, securities, insurance, practice accounting, etc. Why not require a license as a prerequisite for employment in the industry. Don't grandfather anyone in, and make the test nice and hard. That will weed out the idiots who have drug our industry down with their whining and bitching. Also, if you already hold a license, when you are laid off, you are much more attractive to other employers. That's just me.

Let me explain this to you Ernest. There is power in numbers. Once again, you did not understand this the first time, so let me give to you again. There is power in numbers.
1 license is useless.
