Someone hit a nerve. I detect a bit of a guilty conscience and this response is the first step in getting the help you need. Maybe start with field experience, a tad of common sense and a willingness to say, “I don’t know”, let’s figure it out. Emotions are high. This company is failing due to a flawed structure and poor leadership. You are not special. Trying to validate yourself as entitled due to your perception of success is exactly what’s wrong with Genentech.
