Lundbeck here. Everyone of you will be gone in a matter of months, and you will be happy about it!
I have an interview today. I can't believe I flew in for a job that's not going to happen. It looked like a great opportunity, but it sounds like the other company already has reps. Ugh!
Unbelievable! You can forget Alder. It soon won’t exist.
Too bad! This was going to be a great gig! Don’t know anything about Lundbeck except looks like no equity because it’s not traded in the US.
I consider ourselves lucky that were about to be hired....Better to know now, then to accept an offer and resign from current employer. Its a bummer but a blessing it happened now. Way too risky for my taste. I am out. Anyone heard anything from HR or anything?
That really sucks for those who left another company to come here. Just awful. Zero chance you’ll be rolled into Lundbeck, they already have an experienced neuro division
Feel bad for all those who had to go through rounds of interviews and months of waiting to hear back from DMs. Even worse for those who had to fly out for an interview!
love how people chime in on here without knowing a single thing. lundbeck has an MS and psych salesforce. No way they can sell 4 MS drugs and a brand new migraine infusion. New sales force will be necessary
This is the kind of thing someone says before they're laid off. Hope karma doesn't make its rounds. A bit risky in this industry to assume you are safe anywhere.
Some had verbal offers but nobody had been hired outside of district managers
district managers were not interested in psychiatry reps so i found it funny that Lundbeck was the winner of this deal
Lundbeck currently has a psych team and a separate neurology team calling on neurologists for rare orphan disease drug
I wouldn’t assume anything. Lundbeck SS rate disease sales force is VERY green. Most reps have turned over in the last year because of loss of exclusivity on several drugs and LOE for the only remaining drug looming. People are incredibly green and they don’t have B&B experience. So don’t assume it’s over. And if I were still at Lundbeck (I’m not) I wouldn’t assume that I’ll be promoting this molecule.
Who would Lundbeck reps be competing against for jobs? Alder didn’t even put any offers in writing. They’re not going to move forward with anyone now
Most of us at Alder got screwed on options, years of service and thousands of shares that are underwater... worthless toilet paper.
What was the strike price on your options? Heard the purchase price was $18/share.
