I would also like to know. I'm pretty hysterical about this topic too.

Besides, how can there be destruction of "an innocent child" when the cells haven't even divided if the morning after pill is administered as soon as the woman gets to the hospital? There wouldn't even be any proof that a pregnancy even occurred.

Unless you are proposing there be NOTHING done for the rape victim, just in case there might be some super great sperm just itching to penetrate that egg.

We're just emotional, hysterical women DD. I mean, we shouldn't be able to drive, vote, or own property either. Certainly shouldn't be able to make decisions about what to do with our own body or in response to a violent assault!

My neighbor doesn't have a servant but I've always thought I'd enjoy boning his wife. Is that anything like covet?

I hate to see you go down this path because you are far too smart.
You mistake the solution for the problem. The reason women enjoy the lives they do in our culture is because of the moral and intellectual and religious tradition which I am in league with by defending innocent human life even if that life is the result of life.

I by no means minimize the trauma of rape. Maybe I'm wrong but if defending innocent human life even from its very earliest stages is wrong, I'll gladly live with that. I do know that you and those who disagree with me put yourselves on a slippery slope. Maybe you'll never wind up slipping all the way down the slope to the bottom but the devaluing of any human life is how the Nazis got started.

A wad of goo that tries invading an innocent woman's body and egg is not yet a life, it's a mistrake. Mistakes happen and that's why they put eraers on pencils. Stand up and be man enough to help erase the mistake. Drawing the analogy to Nazi behavior is wrong. A better analogy would be likening your attitude toward women to the Taliban.

I am not Catholic. I have no problem with contraception. I have a major problem with abortifacients. If there is no conception then there is no problem.

But once conception takes place then that is a unique human life that differs from you only in stage of life. You can do what you want with your body, but the fetus is not your body.
