This is SPOT ON!! Mgmt here is scary.
 


Management is scary at Thermo? If you ever knew what really went on in the NYC district you would use a different adjective then scary, try criminal,fraud,unethical. LC, ES, and MZ are untouchable , they have the power to add profiles to reps bottom line. Each test that is ordered the reps get three times as many profiles , they have "special arrangements" with labs. These managers go into doctors offices with lab partners to change the different profiles, all you need is permission from the doctors , and of course they will say yes as the reps pay them to be "speakers".
 


I knew there was a reason why those districts always did well, how can someone win ACE so many years in a row, it is not possible. Can you elaborate on how this is done? I always knew there was something shaddy with LC and MZ.
 


They are creating "custom" profiles for the MDs/practitioners. What that entails is adding a bunch of unnecessary allergens to the profiles (NOT the ones designed by the company) so that the CSC gets credit for 2.5/3 profiles out of one lab test. Insurance companies have caught on to this scam and in the next few years this will not be allowed. The NE is the problem and eventually will lead to iCAP not being covered by insurance. IMHO!

Legislative hearings are happening where this is being discussed as part of a larger agenda as well. I hope this is not true.
 


It is being done, as LC (New York City manager)has handed out these profile sheets to his reps. ask the NYC reps. Quest is the only lab that will not allow this, very very shaddy stuff. LC should be put in jail for this, as insurance deductables continue to go up throughout the country and this is one of the many , many reasons why. Watch out for the quite ones as they are the smartest and sneakiest.

Hey genius- I have two accounts with expanded profiles going to QUEST. They are both specialists and use the results to draw serum for shots. These profiles were created by the allergist. Not me. And I am not a rep in the NE. How many allergens are used during skin pric tests? More than we have on our profiles. Is that illegal? You are smearing a lot of people here. You may want to allow for more than nine minutes before you answer your own question.

Hey Mensa: Check your facts. iCap was to be marketed to PCPs NOT specialists. Smearing people - LOL! Who did MZ and all "higher ups" (meaning DMs, RMs, home office, marketing, "special trainers" and even the VPs) smear? These "custom" profiles will not be covered.

Also, Mr. or Ms. Mensan it is called SKIN PRICK often followed by INTRADERMAL allergy test if the prick test to the allergen is negative. Before you start spewing off crap and attacking other CSCs you better do some reading. There is a library site that Thermo provides with access to a myriad of medical journals. Allergist/ENTs can create their own "custom" panels because they know what they are doing and which allergens they use when mixing serum for allergy immunotherapy. If you don't understand the basics - you'll never be able to sell the test. Guess what - I'm not from the NE either! Good luck - sounds like you'll need it.
 


Why is the environment so hostile and jumpy at this company? Everyone is so testy/borderline angry lately. A lot of blame shifting and back watching, not a healthy workplace.
Toxic people exit left because you are taking the fun out of this job. I still enjoy consulting on the test and calling on my accounts and I don't want you spoiling it for me! Here's to rotten Easter eggs in your baskets, nastypants.
