WG...really?

Re: expanded/custom panels

You are correct however, LC, EW, and MZ all promote these illegal, unethical activities, and the reps promote it to IM, and FP.

These expanded panels will not be covered for much longer. These panels are expensive. Of course, Quest loves how much money they make off of ImmunoCAP and expanded profiles. Does Quest's legal dept. have any idea that this is going on?

Also, Mr. or Ms. Mensan it is called SKIN PRICK often followed by INTRADERMAL allergy test if the prick test to the allergen is negative. Before you start spewing off crap and attacking other CSCs you better do some reading. There is a library site that Thermo provides with access to a myriad of medical journals. Allergist/ENTs can create their own "custom" panels because they know what they are doing and which allergens they use when mixing serum for allergy immunotherapy. If you don't understand the basics - you'll never be able to sell the test. Guess what - I'm not from the NE either! Good luck - sounds like you'll need it.

Serum is drawn using our tests. Go check the library. You are clueless and obviously have shitty numbers if you are bitchy enough to come on here and accuse good people of breaking laws. Just another anonymous pussy. If a doctor asks you for expanded profiles you should advise the doctor that you think its immoral and illegal. What an idiot.

I would advice you STRONGLY to shut the F-up because you sound like an uneducated idiot. Remember, not only CSCs are present on this board. I know all about custom profiles because I created quite a few before I questioned the higher-ups about them. Also, don't EVER talk to anyone at pharmacia about what you deem to be questionable ethics. "Serum is drawn using our tests" - LMAO!!!!

Guess you are a shitty manager then. No surprise. Lot's of them here. Serum/components for allergy shots or sublingual drops is created using the results gained from the test. Are you retarded?

LOL! Do you really understand SLIT versus traditional allergen immunotherapy? Do you have any idea how the allergy community is viewing what is going on? SLIT is off label and you have no business discussing this with any providers EVER! Nor, should anyone be promoting these custom/expanded profiles to any office. I believe the senior medical director made it clear that the only profiles to be used were COMPANY ones.

A practitioner can do anything off label but you as a rep, manger, etc. even the VPs are not allowed to promote material as such. Now any other questions, resident idiot? I swear to god the quality of CSCs at this place has gone down dramatically. BTW, I didn't start the thread nor did I remark about anyone. This company needs to be completely revamped - HA!

Re: try again!

certainly sounds like him, exactly right down to the !!s he so loves.

Guess again. I'm not DK; however, he is intelligent and I could have learned a lot from him. He is a heck of a lot smarter than anyone I've ever worked with at Phadia/Thermo. I'm sure the name will be changed again in short order or I mean soon. And, I love ! marks. And, I'll use them when I please.

Warm regards,

Hey dildo. First you talk about people should go to jail. Then you say quest doesn't allow these panels. They do. Physicians request expanded panels you r*****. I am not selling drops you jackass. Could care less about them. Should I tell a physician I can't make a panel if they request one? Why are you so upset about these panels? Who gives a shit. Get over it. We are not in pharma. There is no label. Just sell the test. It's pretty simple. Not rocket science. You are just another loser who is jealous of the success other reps and managers are having. Seen it a hundred times. You can't sell so you smear people for expanded panels or for speakers or for lab access. It's an old story. Go back to sample dropping and reciting a pi.

Yep, that is my main goal in life. I'm so very jealous of all the success that the company is having. I smeared nobody - ask the chain of command who they smeared. Lets just say I have a vested interested in well . . . seeing many of my goals met. Take the SAT again. God, you are annoying!

The problem isnt the custom profiles...docs do request them and on a one off basis they should be made. The problem comes when a lab creates a custom profile as the only resp. profile that they offer with over 60 allergens on it and their physicians have to order this profile as the standard resp profile (sound familiar?). Then to top it off, the reps/dms/rm is not forthcoming with the amount of allergens on the profile and use a denominator that reflects a smaller allergen profile rather than what it should be. A custom profile should be just that...customly made for an office at a request. If a large profile is made that is the "standard" profile it should (1) not be mandated to be used and (2) our data teams needs to be aware that this is the standard profile with the number of allergens....otherwise....triple credit is being awarded artificially.

Re: Hiking in. . .

Now I get it. 3am replies. Up all night smoking meth. Seeing custom panels on your walls coming to attack you.

Guess again. I'm vacationing - so a 2:30 am post is actually about 8 pm where I am. But since you've never travelled you could not possible understand the world - I'm fine with your accusation that I'm "smoking meth" . Really, try to be more creative. I do like pot brownies. Too bad I'm allergic to mushrooms!

Yes, I get it and thank you for your well thought out post. But who can create these profiles? I'm sorry but the only team that could at this point really can't. The entire country does this and home office turns a blind eye. Too many mistakes were made and there is not way to make IT right. I always have hope and wished the best for this company but I'm now very dark about what is going on. I'll elaborate later but I'm losing internet connection.
