What is going on?

Yes. It actually is nice to sit here and confirm with everyone know how horribly run this company is. A lot of us feel the same way. Thank you for asking :)

Certainly anyone with leadership experience would do it way better. Our team doesn't have it - Duh. And it is so obvious. You mistaken clarity and awareness for cockiness and jealousy. How sad. It's this leadership that is cocky, and either so, so unaware of what actually is going on, or fearful that someone will actually catch on and demand a reorg of the group. Leadership may be doing "the best they can", but that does not mean they are even doing an adequate job or are a good option at all. They are failing us all, and the investors too. Selling the idea that they know what they're doing is what's so embarrassing and sad. But you do you and keep drinking the Kool-Aid - hahaha.

It must be nice to sit there on your computer, type nonsense and judge anonymously. Do you really think you could do better if you were in charge? I bet a majority of you have never been in leadership and yet you still point fingers and write about things you know nothing about.
Cockiness and jealousy is an ugly combination. Now I’m going to sit and judge. If you are here and never been up for promotion or left and nobody cared then you think to highly of yourself. Having so much anger toward a company you don’t want to be at is most likely because you are failing at your job or you’re bitter because you had to leave. Stop judging the people who are stuck managing negative people like you. Leadership is doing the best they can with what they have. The job is hard enough, do you think you make things easier or do you think maybe you have always been the problem? Get another job and go get a life

We get it. I stings when you’re in over your head and it gets pointed out for the entire group to see. Now put on your big boy pants and learn really quick how to run a company or continue creating a negative environment full of unwarranted promotions that only further drive this company to deaths door. Tic toc, the grim reaper is waiting.

If you look at the background of leadership, how many actually have a real business degree, not talking the crap B.A. in Business Admin. Which is no better than a psychology degree. Pretty much most of leadership were former, average at best, sales managers just a couple years ago. Come on! does anyone really think they know what they are doing? I think they are doing the best they can with the dire circumstances. However, they don’t have the experience, expertise nor knowledge needed to dig the company out of the hole it is in. Throwing money with contests, a variety of monetary incentives isn’t the answer. There are bigger structural problems that need to be fixed. I wish them luck, but the reality is this company is most likely going to be bankrupt in a year or so. It’s sad, this is a great place to be. Great product/great therapy but the company needs people with the expertise, people who have turned things around at other companies. Not former sales managers that were, essentially babysitters a little while ago. Yes sales managers are essentially over paid babysitters. Just like reps are highly paid UPS drivers. I’m not complaining… just making an observation…that’s why I love what I do. I’ve seen very few managers that are true leaders. It’s not hard to bark orders, do admin work and sit on conference calls. Non of that qualifies a manager to shoot straight up to NSD, VP or even NTM. The clock is ticking, I’m sad because I have to start looking before the crap hits the fan… I wish it weren’t so but it is!

The thread asks “what’s going on”

let’s see…a CEO that has no clue about the US market and did the studies on the data submitted to the FDA. That’s not shady or a recipe for falsely overstating efficacy. A NSM who is too unselfaware to realize the whole company knows she’s been having a long term fling with her favorite MSL. DW is a bipolar tyrant who will take credit for everyone else’s work. MB has to the the cringiest “leader” in the industry. It’s laughable. And as for JH, he just works because he likes to gossip and talk sh#t about people behind their back. He can’t do that if he retires. That’s your management team. A toxic mix of people that can’t stand each other.

What is the average tenure of the sales force? Maybe 1 year? BF can’t keep good people or even average people. Take a look at the stock price. That tells you all you need to know. It’s a great product with too many hurdles to overcome and a joke of a leadership team. This company cannot get out of its own way. Even if you are desperate for a job, Biofrontera is not a good idea.

This can only come from a nasty, hateful person.

CW, get a damn job, and stop looking up college degrees from 30 years on LinkedIn. No one cares, except someone like you. You’ve gone too far and said too much, even for cafepharma

Aaaa yes, I could do better. What do you know that a rep doesn’t know? Really what is it? You “Leaders” get thrust into home office and you assume you now know how to run a company. But what has really changed.. just your title, your knowledge, skill set etc… hasn’t. I got news for you, the proof is in the pudding: the company is tanking on your watch! You are the reason why the company is spiraling down fast. Don’t think more of yourself than you should.

Erica was the worst $400K/year ever spent. Was never a leader, just the worst CEO in the history of CEOs. Buried us all. She deserved to be dismissed. The rest of the group needs to be relieved of duty too: Jeff, Dan, Mark, and Regina are all way in over their heads it is ridiculous. And nobody respects them...especially Jeff, who is outdated and worthless beyond belief. His rug works harder than he does.

And so why do you still work there?

And so why do you still work there?

Because having Biofrontera on my resume has become such a stain that it makes catching an interview borderline impossible. Also this job is so easy with the managers always looking the refill other vacancies. I can just hang at home and occasionally work a little. It’s really easy to have a side hustle here so why mess that up?

Occasionally I check in on my old stomping ground to get a good laugh.

As a former rep who actually wanted to be developed, learn from manager. It was very difficult. Yes, you read that correctly, some of your reps want to learn and want coaching.

My RSM and the other RSMs never went in the field to help their reps. If you happened to get the once or twice a year visit. It was a pick up late, make one call, go to lunch (if you were not lucky) and drop off at the hotel (because they had a conference call?). This was/is the so called “leadership” from MB, RA, DR, NM, KD, CW, etc. and even the new one in the West KB. It appears their management is taking a page out of Biden’s presidential campaign, don’t leave the basement - The VP did this when he as a RSM and isn’t looking…

I faked calls in Coleman, didn’t travel, or do lunches and NO ONE cared…it was awesome! Now I’m at a place that has a real CRM and looks at everything I do - and let me tell you it sucks to be at Big Pharma. I long for my BF days of late morning workouts and picking up the kids every day.

Reps you should shut up and enjoy the ride to milk the system of poor management. Because you are so lucky no one in management has a clue how to manage…let alone lead!

That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever read. How do you know anything about KB and how often he rode with his reps? You are wrong on that one. Are you still there or still obsessed over what happens there because you didn’t get what you wanted. You just admitted that you wish you could get up late, work out and you “faked” calls. You did not want to be coached you wanted to coast. Which isn't surprising just don’t pretend you were wronged by a manager who ignored your precious development. You are a poser and a liar. Who is this? Katie A, Carrie D, Caroline W, Lisa V?

CW, adding your initials to the list of managers isn’t fooling anyone. You didn’t ride with reps and not a single soul considered you a leader. You’re pretending to be someone else

No one knows who Biofrontera is. The only stain is your performance. That’s why you can’t get a job

Kevin, it’s not becoming when everyone that worked for you knows you rarely went in the field. It’s okay, we know you liked working from home.
