What is Tepezza team like?

Nothing wrong with this. Is actually easier. Just show up a few times and fake the rest of the calls.

The problem is that Amgen doesn't pay well. I know reps on the Tepezza team that used to make 300k a year in bonuses. Now its a 250k a year total job. Not bad, but not what we are used to.
No, the top tepezza reps made 800k to - 1 M a year in bonus. We made more than doctors. I Am at Amgen,m, and as a Top 10% performer, I make 15-18k a year, due to them increasing baselines and one quarter Iade zero because they lost the patients that I had referrals on.

It's all mertrics just like the primary care job I had in 2007. Call frequency hammered into our heads
You should see us in the Dynasty - only two things matter:

1-execution report - get your call exactly as ZS says
2-give the blonde queen lots of positive emojis.

I've never been part of a team where the boss demands fealty from everyone around her. Speak your mind and you will be gone.

I just keep quite, but it's a sad environment.

Shut up, bitch

I'm not going to get into name calling and all that but the Amgen playbook is to install a reach and frequency, primary care model for all divisions. Period.

You better get used to calling on who ZS says, with a frequency that ZS says and with the message ZS says resonates.
I left 11 years ago, and nothing has changed. The reach and frequency model was BS then, and still is.

I hear that there are a lot of departures from the Tepezza team but I don’t see many job posts. What’s really going on? Maybe the RDBU experience doesn’t get you much.
Think about it. Large company with me too products buys “rare” disease company. Elevate a bunch of nobodies to keep them here for a bit and keep things humming. They basically were given an exit ticket to go to some other company and our nobodies slide in and now have pseudo “rare” experience. Nothing gets posted.

Things get posted, but the Amgen nepo babies get slotted in bc anyone from external basically gets a thanks but no thanks email in less than 24hrs.

Do NOT come here.

Amgen turns the most simple of problems into massive, time sucking, exercises. They measure themselves not against the initial problem, but their own activities as the blow the problem 10x out of proportion. I have never seen an organization take such simple things and turn them into chaos.

It seems there's a whole cadre of Amgen people who are skilled at this and they feed off each other. They love the process and completely ignore results. In their minds, they behave admirably.

Do NOT come here.

Whoever wrote this speaks the truth. Amgen are not bad people, but they love to turn anything into a huge exercise at the expense of what's important. They love to build out a 1% problem to a 50% problem and then offer a 120% solution that solves the original problem by making it 3x what is originally counted as.

It’s called bureaucracy. Everyone is building their empire and protecting their turf. They need DOGEd.

All big companies have bureaucracies. We go an extra level. We never miss a chance to take something insignificant and turn it into a full blown exercise so that we can measure the effectiveness of the exercise as it relates to things other than the impacts of the original issue.
