Lots... but hey we’ve got an upgraded fluid management system coming out soon!
Salary range? Target bonus?
How's the manager in the DC/VA territory and what happened to the former rep?!
written by hologic management. @ plan has been lowered to 130k. This was designed to discount novasure and keep profitability. Hologic hiring entry level med reps. This is you!
WTF? Who told you that?!? Surgical just went to 100% commission. I’m happy. “Eat what you kill” is a great comp plan as far as I’m concerned. Percentages at baseline and growth look good too, provided we get a realistic target.
“Provided we get a realistic target” yeah, good luck with that. Hologic doesn’t exactly have a great history of providing reps with realistic targets. That’s why every quarter reps are begging and pleading with customers to stock their shelves full of product in exchange for free scopes and other capital equipment. Worst sales organization in medical device history.
Got my realistic target!!!!
Game on!!
The numerous photos of various teams on LinkedIn have been amusing to scroll through. The managers must've received an ultimatum from leadership to post them.

Got a call last week from recruiter about a busy open territory where rep got promoted so territory is in very good shap . How is QOL with this company? I understand you usually have a clinical rep that works with you as well. Just took that corny assessment test.
The clinical person is called a Clinical Account Manager. Not every territory is assigned a CAM. I would double check that.
Also, there were around 20 or so managers a year ago and now only like 4 or 5 are left. Many were brought in as friends of Sean and Essex, and some were brought in because they interviewed for a Territory Manager position and Sean and Essex thought they were so amazing, they hired them for the existing open manager job instead of the territory manager job.
This can be a very high paying job. It also can be a very rewarding job. It also can be the absolute complete opposite of that. Make sure to do your homework on which manager you would be working for.
Two more things - if the position is open because a TM was promoted to manager, be very wary that the TM may have put months and months and months of product on the shelf at top accounts to help drive year end numbers and personal payouts. Also, don't expect any loyalty at this company. They don't expect to show loyalty to their reps and managers but that also goes both ways and they don't expect loyalty from their reps and managers either. It's just the game of business and loyalty, as it has been made very clear, should only be reserved for your loved ones closet to you.
