Since we're being honest, TW is a total idiot and lacks people skills! How and why he is a VP is anyone's guess!
Can anyone point to one major achievement of TW over his duration in J&J.
Like 99% of them at that level, they know which butts to kiss to get ahead. And how to say how great something is when it's a total crock of chit.
Weck consistently demeans and embarrasses his direct reports. He has survived by eliminating potential competition. It's a moot point now, because there will be no place for him in the new order. He is neither diverse or inclusive!
Maybe he can start a Tennis camp post-J&J so he can abuse young athletes in the same manner he abuses his colleagues at J&J?
Hope not!
I'm a woman of color and can tell you first hand Weck was almost fired back in 2009 for inappropriate comments. In today's low tolerance environment he would have been sacked immediately!
Weck has also made several insensitive comments towards the LGBTQ community. It's a wonder he is still there. I guess no one is paying attention right now! Hopefully, that will change soon!
I do not know where you are getting your data from - however all of you who are TW haters are wrong and mis informed.
TW is one of the best leaders in JnJ. He lives by the credo and its values and promotes them all the time. He promotes people into leadership roles around JnJ, and continues to empower folks to succeed. He is always looking for the best in people and goes out of his way to ensure they are successful. He would make a phenomenal CIO for JnJ.
Thanks, Tom.

I worked with Tom on a key project about 7 years ago - he was supportive of me & my team for the most part (primarily because I brought a skill set that he needed to meet his goals); he did get edgy when our work inadvertently exposed one of his guys and other execs warned me that TW was 'high-maintenance'. Once my executive engagement was successfully completed, I moved on with good wishes from Tom.
Perhaps I was not around long enough to see his 'ugly' side ?
