That bad?Avoid at all costs.
It’s not bad if you’re in a state with excellent coverage. Definitely do your due diligence. Reach out to Paratek reps on LinkedIn for the real scoop. There are huge issues with this company, though, so make sure you talk to people before diving in.That bad?
Excellent advice. Management looks the other way concerning glaring deficiencies within the organization. Do your homework. It’s not bad if you’re in a state with excellent coverage. Does Optinose currently have a sales force? If so, will they be integrated into the Paratek sales team?Optinose has been bought by Paratek. Wow is their drug a dud. They have lost billions. Hope they are fired and not us.
Nuzyra is not a dud. It is legitimately a good and needed innovation in the antibiotic space. The coverage just sucks. The Optinose reps feel the same way about Paratek. The new company is really only for old men still hanging on or newbies. Drugs are reformulated old duds.
The drug it self is great! However, the coverage is horrible. You have so many generics that are approved by Medicare, so the insurance will ask why they need a branded antibiotic when 90% of the generics will work. Everything in most cases requires a Prior Authorization. Once a doctor has written the drug a few times and every time it gets denied, you will most likely lose that doctor. They don't have time to fight with the insurance companies. So you end up getting one off RX's here and there. It's never consistent.Interviewing here but starting to notice a lot of turnover/openings on LinkedIn? Any insight?
