WTF#2

If Raj would lay off that yo yo ho ho in calibration, I would personally thank him in the best way possible. Worst person I have ever met. Dishonest, cheating and not cute. Who wants to look at that all day?

Maybe it's time for some rehab dude/dudette......You are making no sense to this blog or its content.

Pardon moi - I was under the impression this blog was about layoffs at Akorn, and I am hoping for the layoff of a particularly heinous co-worker.

Stop using ebonics and tell us who you want gone or just go away.

Some of the eliminated territories cover some major US Metro Cities. This wasn't a great idea. Who is going to cover these customers - our invisible inside sales team???

My acute counterpart told me today that certain neighboring acute territories were given the eliminated representatives' accounts. So some of the team have almost double the accounts they had before. New relationships will have to be forged and you know the first question that will be asked is " Why did their lay off ________?

Brilliant! A pharma company actually had a reorganization to keep themselves relevant in the market? That never happens. Who is steering the ship?
Morons. Read some of your competitors blogs. Get used to it. Business we are in. Never feels good but way of life.

Tell me Raj, how is this latest Akorn move cost effective:

1- Salary 55k x 5 = -$275,000
$ Benefits = $0
3- Promotion on one +$10,000
4 Increase T&E Expenses +$50,000 (Low balling)
5. Lost of Sales to Prior Relationships......Unknown
Total Financial Benefit of Layoff in Acute Sales = $100 -200k

Wow a real cost effective move. Ruin the lives of 5 people who sold their hearts out for Akorn. Can't wait for our upcoming meetings to hear more of the BS from our excutive management.

First of all you were laid off and you won't be at upcoming meetings.

Second of all, the business is mostly about dollars and cents and while relationships do have value it is very small in comparison to any financial proposal that either will or will not be profitable to a customer.

Lastly please either learn to spell or use spellcheck. Start with your resume.

Former employee my guess. Numbers are wrong. With new leadership in place this most likely was not Raj. Move on already. Get over the fact that you left. You are sorry you did. We are not.

such a wrong guess......I just hope you aren't one of my team members. BTW, one can only state that Raj being CEO has final approval on all sales & marketing decisions...especially personnel layoffs.

Sounds like Jason B shooting off his mouth after drinking the Akorn Koolaid!
Sounds like a quote from AW. I would hate to work under him! I'm thankful that I have MK. Two of the three managers are good, but AW is sneaky. What he says to your face is way different than behind your back. I've been in conversations with this guy, and he isn't loyal to his own team members. I'm going to mention the "layoffs" to him at the NSM in Feb, and see how he responds. It will probably be some canned answer. Be careful with this manager! He is the phoniest one out there and never does ride-alongs.

I am on his team. Can you give me an example? BTW, he has ridden with me several times.
Sneaky is the not the right word to describe him.
