Been here 2 years so tired of faking calls to doctors who will never talk to me....the lie continues....
PCP here. I can see 7 calls a day in the metro part of my territory, but rarely that many in the rural parts. Unfortunately, there isn’t much potential in the metro part because they can just let cardiologists handle it, while all the good business is in the rural areas where they treat everything. Also, if you start looking at who are company targets, it’s ridiculous. Some targets don’t live in my territory (yes, I do constant PAIs), many are hospitalists or long term care providers I can’t see, and some are cardiology NP/PAs (yes, I do PAIs). I have some targets with such tiny potential as to be laughable. Then I have tons of offices and providers who use a fair amount of Entresto or Leqvio and aren’t targets at all. So does Novartis want me to sell or plug in the correct reach and frequency on targets? Since I may not even have a job, I’m giving up and playing the game they want.
Safer to sit in car with bowl of generic fruit stars= these doctors are all no see! What a weirdo!
even safer to stay HOME, no access in most of the country anymoreSafer to sit in car with bowl of generic fruit stars= these doctors are all no see!
As a PCP rep, I have access and work very hard. I have the numbers to prove it. My CV counterparts never leave the city they live in and have only a handful of offices they are even responsible for visiting. I’ve been working very hard for much less money all along and I’ll probably lose my job today while they keep theirs. If you aren’t working on the regular, you should step forward and volunteer to go,Safer to sit in car with bowl of generic fruit stars= these doctors are all no see!

None of you bitches would have volunteeredYou couldn't volunteer, otherwise there would have been a line hundreds of people deep. I don't work on the regular, nor will I start doing so now. Life is full of tough breaks, maybe it is best you learn that now.
Right. You are the only one in your area working. You are making a lot of assumptions about other rep in a very disparaging way. Perhaps you SHOULD be the one to go…As a PCP rep, I have access and work very hard. I have the numbers to prove it. That’s not what I said. My cv counterparts work, but have very few call points in very small area and they definitely have more time for “planning meetings” at Starbucks. Meanwhile, PCP reps have been burning through cars trying to keep up with the targets in so many towns the company asks us to see.Right. You are the only one in your area working. I also try to get into Cardiology Offices- most of the doctors will only see us during a lunch-so I bring the deep dish pizza, cookies, pies, soda, chips, wet wipes, and those bagel chips too
watch your mouth dirt soulGive some wet-wipes to the guy hanging out in car smoking and eating generic fruit-loops. I'm guessing he could use them.
