PCP rep here, with great empathy for the way Novartis has treated you. Yes, the fact that legacy CV reps have been displaced while most of us were retained does not speak well of Novartis having any value for us. I wish I had been cut this round too. This place is miserable.
As far as new targets, I have very few PCP providers, almost all are cardiologists and new to me at this company.
Geography is much smaller than my formerly enormous territory. I’m aware that CV reps formerly had very tiny territories and this will be an adjustment for them, but it is more consistent with what other companies do.
PCP making more bonus than you? I don’t see how. Target bonus in PCP has been $27,000 and literally no one is making that thanks to absurd Leqvio goals. Target bonus in CV is $40,000, right? Also, our pay range is significantly lower than yours. Hoping the consolation prize for not getting the severance package is a raise to specialty range. It will make it that much easier to negotiate salary at the next job.

Pcp reps in my region have been receiving payouts between 125-150%. Most css’s are at 50-75%. I’m not hating on the individuals-I’m hating on the system and the complacent arrogant leaders. when you look at the volume growth in a pcp territory and it’s coming from cardiologists and mid level cd, that is fraudulent reporting. So the abls & Sandeep the terrible will understand - accurate sales data is a metric. If reps and abls were knowingly paid on the wrong specialities through bad data, that is a major compliance problem. I would never turn in a coworker but I give no f’s about filing a whistle blower report on my way out.
& for other css’s on your way out - I suggest you do them same. Also - there are several companies actively recruiting Entresto reps now- don’t be bullied into submission by this sick group of leaders.

I don't know where your territory is, but all of the displaced people in my region were PCP and all of the cardio reps were retained. I know this is also true for another region next to my region. It is unfortunate because the displaced people were long time Novartis reps who were previously cardio reps that were displaced to PCP a couple of years ago. Good luck to all displaced

get used to it. It’s just another diversionary tactic that they are using into convincing you that things are moving in a positive direction. Nothing is going to change.
