An individual who is self-centered, arrogant in thinking and behavior, lack of empathy and consideration for other people with an excessive need for admiration. He is cocky, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding. A legend in his own mind because he is not as good as he thinks. He is not going anywhere so my recommendation is you call him out when he acts out, report him to HR and speak to Sr. Leadership.

This captures “Hi Me”. We can’t allow this to continue. I have made the decision that if the situation doesn’t change I will turn in my resignation. I have never been talked down, disrespected and belittled in my entire career by anyone and I will not allow it now. I honestly can’t work under these conditions. I have made my choice and wish you all the best.
 


JD is just following the old Sanofi playbook. They needed female leadership on paper for contracts so they elevated a bunch of Director roles to VP level, but not leadership team level. All but a few were barely Director level talent.

as for his right hand, if LR had half the talent her bio suggests, we might stand a chance. I’m not sure bragging on being in charge of a late to market GLP1 business is such a smart idea on her part.

Enough is is enough. You have a problem and all of us are paying the price. Just ask across any team this individual works with and you will hear a consistent theme. It’s difficult to work for an individual who nobody trusts. He has his own agenda and knows exactly what he is doing. His level of professionalism is an embarrassment to our teams. He talks about everyone behind their backs including you. This is just not acceptable behavior.

Jaime has always been this way and will never change. Deryk, Vicky and Linda are just riding this gravy train because otherwise their careers are over, they are all collecting paychecks full stop and couldn’t care less about Jaime’s bully behavior. His HR and compliance files must be crazy.

JD has way too much on his plate to be thinking about you so stop making yourself more important than you are. You continue to loose people on your team, nobody likes working with you, your peers and cross functional teams find you to be a pain to deal with and nobody trusts you. This is your doing so look in the mirror and stop blaming others for your unacceptable behaviors.

I do not understand how he is still here. Why he hasn’t been made to improve his style and coaching. He is a bully and rude. I feel for the people that are unlucky enough to have to report to him and even the management team that has to work closely with him. After his outrageous, insulting and condescending behavior at the NSM, you would think something would be done. He does not attempt to hide the poor behavior and insults people in front of the room filled with people. It is embarrassing!

The above poster is accurate! People leave managers not organizations. And there will be many excellent field people that leave and people that will make great managers upon expansion but do not want to work with him! It is truly sad that HR, Drk and LR allow this to continue. This constant bad behavior would not be allowed in middle school by children! I would be very surprised if there was never a report filed complaining about him, but the fact that nothing is done and people must suffer is so unfair. It now affects multiple teams. Those that report to him- please know that others feel for you and know that you deserve better. I cannot imagine the stress and anxiety that may he must unnecessarily put onto you.
Please ELT and HR- do something about this man! He obviously cannot be coached to improve and is not willing change to be a better manager but also a better person!

Not a matter of like or don't like, he's not a bad guy he is also pretty smart, but when it comes to leadership skills he's a mess and that's why people like hi me will always have a place at Intercept. Keep on bitchin cause you will leave before hi me.

I'm already gone. Life is about choices and I refuse to work in an environment that was disrespectful under the hi me regime. I believe his days are numbered and he will get what he deserves. It’s happened in every organization he has been with. The bread crumbs are there. So history will repeat itself.

Hi Rancid Hazard! Your lack of accountability and tendency to deflect is spot on. This isn’t a Hi-me only post. He doesn’t have authority to come up with green yellow red. That was collective effort with JD and the rest of ELT. If this is a hi-me post where we aren’t allowed to comment on JD, why haven’t you attacked the other posters for shedding light on JD’s grunting? Oh you deflector, you!
