No go with AMGN

Novartis was offering a high base...but mid 50s for target bonus. The other companies max 170k on base...and bonus back under 50k at plan. Genentech doesn't even bonus on sales anymore. And no top performers in the GBU has left. Not sure about other divisions.

Sorry, but you are very wrong about the bases at other companies. It’s amazing how many people on here think they’re the experts regarding the max any company pays. I have friends at GSK and BMS in the 180s, and they are not the highest paid. You also don’t have to pay for your own car at other companies. Whether you like having your own car or not, the fleet cars, insurance, and maintenance are worth way more than the $850-taxes that we get here.
And to the fool that keeps taking about current bonuses, get it through your thick skull that only target bonus is guaranteed going forward and RSUs are gone.

The max BMS was going for the JAK inhibitor was 165k. What division are these friends in that are making 180k and aren't the highest paid. I call BS

Neuro. You can call BS all you want to, it doesn’t make you right. Plenty of people at Novartis on the rheum side making over that, too. A lot has changed the last couple of years. Maybe you or whoever you know can’t negotiate for shit.

You are wrong and obviously not in the know. And yes Randy confirmed on a call no change to sales force structure for rep/manager- anyone higher no guarantees. If you don't believe it is true you should start looking.

He confirmed the email that was sent out that there are no plans CURRENTLY to change customer/patient facing structure. That doesn’t mean anything. They could have a plan next week. I’ve heard that BS before many times and it was followed by layoffs within a few months.

omg. The Horizon-like RSUs are gone. Maybe 3-5k on avg for Amgen. After taxes, that’s not much. Only target bonus is guaranteed. Pretty much everywhere is technically uncapped, including the rest of Amgen. That doesn’t mean anything. There’s no guarantee on the structure of IC or the budget allotted for it. A new structure could give minimal money for going above goal. There’s no guarantee of the milestone bonus or any contests. Best of the best? More like the most gullible of the gullible.

Or you are full of shit. My husband is a DM at novartis in derm and he said no rep is making 180k. Some ISS reps and TLL only over 180k.

Neuro is same level so same over there too.

We are starting a new division at Amgen...rare Disease ibu....it will 100% be compensated differently than other business units.

haha I just came from Novartis and I can assure you no rep on the Rheumatology side is making over 180k base. Its outside the range of the pay level- even the highest level. You would have to get promoted to associate director (TLL) or Instiutional Sales specialist to get that (most of them over that..).
