Pay increase from pcp to cv?

I could get a great bump right now, already turned one down. I just don’t want to go to training again! But if Novartis doesn’t give me a bump for surviving and thriving the last few years, that’s what I’ll do.

Yes! A lot of these posters do not realize that even people who were hired in 2002 left good jobs to come here, most every single person hired in the expansion had lots of experience.

If I’m 100% Leqvio selling CV why shouldn’t I be bumped up to match my counterparts it’s a lot more difficult to sell then other drugs, and the way IC is set up I could potentially make zero bonus. I’m damn sure working harder than I’ve ever had to in this industry to sell it. So tell me again how I deserve to get less pay?

It’s not that complicated to understand … salary is based on years of experience you bring to the job. Do you honestly think all Card reps are making the same amount? Check the bands .. there are people at every dollar amount. If someone has been with novartis many years they will have also had merit increases based on performance. You as a previous pcp rep shouldn’t automatically be bumped in pay when you’ve done zero to show you’ve earned it in two weeks. Get a clue

Holy shit the entitlement! How many times does it have to be explained that we are all different with different levels of experience in the industry and years at Novartis. You have balls thinking you deserve to be paid them same as someone who may have a lot more time in the industry or company. The salary bands as mentioned are very wide for a reason - so there can be flexibility between employee salaries

the entitlement? Hardly! I’m not the one asking for a pay raise two weeks into a new job! I know what the pay was when the job was offered to me! Let me ask you something pcp rep.., did you interview for your new role? No, you didn’t!

It’s not a promotion, quit viewing it as one! Things change all the time in our industry.. do you think if your on the MS team and suddenly management decides to add Rheumatologists to your call points… that you would deserve a significant pay bump?! I think not. It’s the same concept! The previous pcp reps are the ones with the entitlement.. grow up and welcome
to the real world

Apparently there is an initiative to equal set pay across all divisions! TAS training is supposed to be the first step. CV is paid the least as it currently stands. However, NVS tries their best not to pay anymore than they have to. Probably a smoke and mirror trick to keep people around on empty promises.

I’m interviewing for another job with a significant bump in pay. Novartis better spill the beans fast, because if we aren’t getting a raise we will find one another way. I’d prefer to stay, but the job market says I would be stupid to stay. The drugs are great to sell, but the metrics culture sucks and the pay isn’t great. If they were going to “level us up” in pay, they should have let us know by now.

Go deliver lunch somewhere else for more money. There are plenty of people seeking mediocrity to replace you.

There will be an increase of over $20k for the new TAS positions. Many former PCP reps have plenty of experience. CV jobs are way easier than PCP ones. The sell is much more complex than calling on pcp offices.

you’re a fucking idiot. All the tough selling was done years ago. The entitlement is truly unbelievable.

They are hiring in new reps and paying them within the TAS range, but have still not started paying all of us working as TAS within that range. Novartis is doing everything they can to cause attrition.

Hey there new tas rep - if you feel unloved and unvalued in your new promo, imagine how the former css’s must feel.

I hear there’s an active speak up case looking at former pcp reps inflated IC because there are many cases of incorrect speciality payouts over the last few years.

You created a speak up case because you don't know how to do a PAI?

They feel how we all do, cheated over and over by this miserly company. They feel like their work and expertise is not valued, same as we do. They feel like they have been taken for a ride and they have no control over where the ride goes, same as we do.
Don’t blame us for Novartis’ abysmal culture. We didn’t have any more control than you did. That being said, we’ve worked harder for less money than you for the last few years. We are all enjoying the specialty sell and should get paid accordingly. If you deserve it, we do too for doing the same work.

"We are all enjoying the specialty sell".
I laughed out loud.
I've launched more than one product in my life, and I can promise you I am not enjoying this clusterfuck.
