This is the worst company I've ever worked for. Ethics? Management? WOW

I think Horizon came up with a pretty good drug in RAYOS. Being a low-dose, timed-release prednisone tablet that was released for several big-market indications including RA and COPD is an opportunity for the Sales Rep to shine and make some big bucks. RAYOS will have advantages over the competition which the Docs can appreciate. If the Sales Rep is able to bring these advantages to the Doc's attention he will be doing the Doc as well as the patient a big favor. I see success all around, for the Patient, the Doc and the Sales Rep. Making the sales calls with a good attitude can only help. The initial launches of most drugs are slow to get going. It takes a little time for the Docs to get used to the drugs they are prescribing and develop confidence. I think RAYOS may fit this scenario where it picks up quickly after the Docs see a few successes with their initial prescriptions. It would be a shame if the Sales Rep starting with low moral gets discouraged too early during the launch and by walking away allows the next Sales Rep to pick up the rewards. It pays to be a little stubborn at times and look at what good could happen. I have had success at times as a result of following the sage advice of a well known and successful football coach who said: "Never mind that the horse is blind, just keep loading the wagon".

Yes, Tim! Why did your management team remove 50% of the sales force, during the first few months of the launch! Tom? Lenwood?

Because you are a bunch of IDIOTS! You need to move your skills to something you are better qualified to do....like McDonalds or White Castel.....

Did anyone look around and notice how many people were not here, from last year?

Newbies, did you meet any sales reps that said they were here last year?

what a sad little company....pathetic!

This company uses "Early View" for their be-all script data. No one uses that for their reps bottom line numbers. Reputable companies use IMS data because it captures the non-reporting pharmacies, which includes many of the large chain and independent pharmacies. If you get fired because of your low results as reported on Early View, you are being fired on false reporting data. You should legal assistance against the company if you have this issue. They know exactly what volume is going to the zip codes because of the volume leaving the warehouses! Don't let them get away with it. Tell management to tell the truth and stop undercutting your bonuses or threatening you with a PIP!

Like we care. You'll be miserable no matter where you go because the products (any products) don't sell themselves you lazy pos.

You know it would really help everyone if you would just shut up, and go back in your little office and play on your little computer. I'd ask you to work, but you don't do anything...

Oh hi Aaron, you blubbery pig. Crawl back into your booze and shut up. We only feel miserable trying to sell your dual generic over priced horse pill. Ibuprofen has been otc since 1984 and famotidine has been around since the mid 80s. You are hoping to steal money from patients with a far from innovative garbage pill. The only sell you have is the work comp relationship sell. In other words, you want to take advantage of people who are unaware and you want to steal from the work comp coverage. You are a joke and so is the company you work for. Stuff it fat boy.

Well...YES, I think I will leave your company...in fact, I already have left your company! You just don't know it yet :) Keep them paychecks comin LOL!

Holy smokes... This is a cool deal. I should have done this long ago. One dumb ass job + ridiculous job= pretty sweet pay. The managers are so sense and full of themselves, I know that if I keep stroking the egos and replying to all these damn messages... I'll make more than they do. It's even easier if you pretend to be stupid.

Follow this advice if you want to survive here:
It's even easier if you pretend to be stupid.

Micro managers and morons for DMs make sales force miserable. Do exactly what they say and play the game. Otherwise find a new job.

You are wrong. IMS data does not capture non-reporting pharmacy numbers, they use a mumbo jumbo way of projecting numbers (supposedly using wholesaler and managed care data). They also do no collect WalMart/Sam's Club numners. It is all smoke and mirrors, and often proven to be wrong by reps. IMS blows chunks.
