Similac recall

I recommend that we have a company-wide town hall meeting. At this forum, Ford can address the ped nutrition problems and lay out firm action steps going forward. We are all impacted by the Similac crisis and morale in the other divisions is being negatively impacted by nutrition. Let's get back on the same page and go forward with feeling good about our future. We need Ford's PR handlers to stop recommending an "ostrich approach" to crisis management.

Long Term Shareholder, back to Duane Burnham. absolutely agree. Never would have happened under Miles Whilte.
Me too. Miles had some early bumps but this is incredibly stupid. The firings should've happened by now. Agreed that they fire reps for cheating on expense reports, lying about resume accomplishments, not working when they should be - they deserve to be fired and so does this incompetent leadership. At least no one died from what the reps did.

Criminal* leadership

Sounds nice but Ford and company are being told to keep their mouths shut by counsel. They and q/a ignored and (sorry has to be said) lied about these early reports. In the 15 years I was there EVERY patient complaint/ investigation had the same bs form letter with the same language. EVERY one. But then a product would be "reformulated" shortly after. This time it wasn't an "illness" or diarrhea - babies died. This a- hole ceo says the bacteria that killed the infants "wasn't of the same DNA " of the bacteria they found in the plant. Omg - was this smart to say? Maybe this"new" bacteria the fda found wouldve killed more infants ?! Pause and let that sink in. As mah boy Trump would say "YOU'RE FIRED!" I miss him

Nope. Ford and company keeping their mouths shut. They and qa allowed this (and sorry has to be said) this has gone on for years. All the years I was there EVERY patient complaint/ investigation had the same form letter with changes to date, lot, brand etc but basically "nothing to see here" This a- hole ceo said the bacteria that killed the infants "didn't match the dna" of the bacteria found in the plant. Omg - pause and let that sink in. The fda probably saved some infants. This tone deaf, callous and cruel leadership needs to be held accountable or in custody. Like my favorite president would say "YOU'RE FIRED" G-d I miss him

Can’t compare the two. Sorry, not even close to the same things here.

You seem to be confused. The whistleblower wasn’t a field based sales rep. He worked at the Sturgis factory (where QA was falsifying reports) and was fired for “alleged” safety violations, not cheating on expense reports or lying about resume accomplishments.

Ok. maybe read this slowly and a few times.
It's called a "compare and contrast" exercise. "Compare" the favored treatment of top level protected leaders (gets tricky here) and now "contrast" that to the lower level employees who are disposed of like tissue paper. Just sad statement everywhere today and certainly at Abbott. Just hire anyone now; no critical thinking skills.

Your writing skills suck. Also, sarcasm and condescending tones never come across well in posts. Go back to your retirement.

Sad statement everywhere? Nope. Not everywhere. Abbott is the only company that’s firing a whistleblower complaining about filthy factories and killing babies. No one else. Very important to get that very clear.

Just saw the headline this morning that Sturgis is closed again! WTH!! Please board of directors start firing the incompetent leadership team!! A proud company is being brought down by the rot in top management! Mad as Hell!

Anyone at Abbott stop to wonder why we only have ONE factory that supplies 40% of the nation’s baby formula? Seems stupid for so many reasons.

When the whistleblower told the truth is irrelevant to the truth itself. The ethics of the whistleblower is not the issue here. Dead babies are.

Typical Abbott tactic to flip the script and question the whistleblower. Abbott is responsible for falsifying reports, lying for years and under oath, and for those innocent babies’ lives lost. Disgusting ethics.
