of course, they love the drug. But they are chomping at the bit to lay off everyone. They just gutted their entire neuro dept yesterday. They don’t care about anyone anymore.

No company cares about people. My ASD keeps reiterating that Amgen leadership keeps saying that they bought Horizon for the products AND the people. Yeah, right.

You have to be kidding, right? Rising drug prices is not a legal reason for blocking a merger or acquisition. This is just political grandstanding so she can claim to have fought for reducing drug prices. Everyone in this industry should know that any talk about drug prices by politicians is just BS to garner votes. The last bill past about drug prices & Medicare affects virtually nothing for our industry.

If you come here, push the hardest for RSUs when negotiating so that you at least have a cushion in case you get laid off with the Amgen acquisition. Horizon just did a big expansion in the OBU & GBU, none of which are even close to necessary. The RSUs will vest if you’re laid off within a year or 18 months. Can’t remember the timeframe.

OBU was necessary, territories were way too big and unmanageable.
